Will the "Claire and the Cat" one be re-released, too (or released for more folks than just those who saw it from The Upfronts)?

And will the "format" be like "The Covenant" graphic novel 14-page excerpt?

I have NO idea. No one e-mailed me to tell me about this, I had to learn it from the CBR website myself. *ahem* Makes me feel kinda behind the times sad.gif

I'm assuming it'll be at http://heroes.nbc.com

So how does 9thWonders fit in with the whole scheme of things? Do you have think-tank sessions with the scribblers, mentors, crew, and cast and find out what the scoop du jour will be in terms of content that will be added to or reported on the site? Or is it usually a red phone hotline for contact? smile.gif

Don't worry. The link CraigB is much more informative. The show didn't say much.

QUOTE
The first comic includes art from Michael Turner and Koi Turnbull, with Tim Sale and Jim Lee set to be part of the fun.
Here's some information from Tim Sale when someone asked if the online comics would be made into a print form (and it also hints at the extent of his involvement and maybe why other artists would want to get involved):
QUOTE (Tim Sale @ Aug. 15 2006,18:58)
Online comics only, for now, and who kows what that'll be like. My involvement may not be much, as they prefer me to create stuff for the show itself (and I do as well), but I know there are plans to do online comics.

Doing actual comics is a dicey proposition that I'd rather stay away from; I AM exclusive to DC after all.

Note the date; this isn't really a double-post. There's some news from Sci Fi Wire, with this excerpt:
QUOTE
Heroes Has Online Comic

Tim Kring, creator and executive producer of NBC's superhero drama Heroes, told SCI FI Wire that the the series will be accompanied by a Web comic at NBC.com that will become an integral part of the show itself. "Just to give a little spoiler to everybody, the audience should look for the idea of the comic book to play a huge part internally inside the show," Kring said in an interview.

The weekly Heroes Web comic will run concurrently with the series and will have some relevance to the episode airing that week. "People can log on and view and sort of interact with the online comic book every week in conjunction with the episodes," Kring said. "And the comic won't be necessarily about that episode, but it will further enhance your viewing of the show. It will be sometimes an alternative look at what you've seen, or the other side of what you've seen, or a story that just sort of enhances your appreciation of the characters."

So when does the first one come out, when when when? On the release date of the pilot? Or a couple of days after?

I think it's awesome that the show will spill over into on-line comics. I'm surpised other superhero oriented shows haven't done it before.

Hopefully, NBC will go to Flash 7 or less...for us poor Linux OS users that can't get Flash 8 or higher! sad.gif

I think Buffy and Angel did do it, just a lot later on, it didn't explain that much about the main story either.
