Click Distractions at the top. Be warned though, it breaks down the show scene by scene. The Claire-daddy spoiler is the last on, 19.
"Distractions" seems to be gone now. Did they pull it down?

Sorry I'm pretty sure Claire's father is going to be Thompson, even though I think it would be very interesting if it were Nathan.
P.S. Dont forget she can regenerate, so if she got the ability from her father who is to say that he hasnt stopped aging because of the ability.

Nathan didnt know of his powers or people with powers till his bother convinced him of them.
If Nathan was with Claires mom he should know of her powers, since you figure it was her who started the house on fire.
Claires mom is still intouch with the father. If the father was Nathan he would of known about the special powers before peter told him.

I was also thinking Mr. Linderman (Malcolm McDowell) wont be on the show for 2-3 more episodes. still a possibility since we dont know when we will see Claires father. We think this upcoming episode but you never know.
Mr. Bennet seems to be the father so far in my oppinion. One spoiler said his wife learns of him lieing to her? He has lied about alot of stuff to her but could it be about another family (wife)?
It seems like the mother knew her daughter didnt die, if she did know that claire didnt die she wouldnt let a stranger just take her child (I believe). But I think she would let the father have the child if she was scared of hurting her with her powers.

I warn you though it could truly ruin the surprise for you.

Linderman is Pyro-mom's dad, making him claire's grandpa. Pyro-mom (is her name Meredith?) and Nathan have a fling when they are younger (like early 20's)..they know each other because their fathers know each other (we know that linderman and papa petrelli knew each other)...so Pyro-mom gets pregnant..Papa Petrelli worries that his son having an illigitimate child will look bad for his political career and nathan's future political career..Linderman takes care of it by having the mom and baby "killed" in a fire, most likely he knows about the pyro-ability...but he really has HRG take Claire, because Linderman also happens to be the person who heads up whatever organization that HRG works for (the one without initials), and Pyro-mom changes her name and all that jazz..and Nathan is Claires Bio-dad, but probably doesn't know that she is still alive..and Linderman must know about the people with special powers..well, he has to if he is the head of HRG's organization..and so it's all one big tangled mess.
And Eric Roberts will play Thompson...and he doesnt show up for a couple of episodes. and he is not claire's dad. Nathan is. thats all i have to say about that.

Becasue, frankly,
There is always the possibility that this was a deliberate foiler. After all, it has appeared very early in the day.
However, I think the scenerio is looking more and more likely.
Shocked? Bah!
i hope that you reazlie that Peter is 26 and Claire is 15.. making Peter a sex offender...

That is what most people thought at the beginning of Heroes, since Claire mentioned taking SATs and other stuff (leading us to believe that she is a Junior or Senior in high school, meaning she is about 17). Also, the actress Hayden Panettiere is 17. However, in the last episode, Claire said that it was time for her stuffed bears to migrate because she is almost 16 and she needs to learn how to deal with her own problems. So yeah, it's official, Claire is only 15.

Hey, I said "potential couple"...as in when she's no longer jailbait. Which, sadly, seems a lot longer than was originally thought, given that her age has relapsed from 18 to 16 to 15.
It's the anti-SORAS, I guess.
If Simone ends up dying, that will be three female love interests killed so far (LOL, what does that say about the writers' views concerning women?). Maybe it's for the best that Claire isn't paired up with anyone.

I like the idea that Linderman is Claire's dad. It would be a shocker if we hadn't all been thinking it already. I don't think Nathan works out really well with the math and doesn't he have boys about the same age as claire. Also in the flashbacks of 6 months ago, proper to the accident Nathan's marriage was good so I don't see him cheating on the wife and keeping it secret but in connect with her all this time.
Okay try this one on for size. Do we have a confirmation the Nathan's father is really dead? Claire does regenerate afterall it could be a possiblity. And a really BIG SHOCKER

Answer: Losers.
Nathan as Claire's father resolves that, though it is almost cliche.
It is almost cliche, and Tim K. told us via interviews that we would be SHOCKED by who Claire's dad was.
And, label me a loser if you wish, but I wouldn't mind seeing a slowly-developing romantic relationship as part (not the focus) of the show.
I've realized today that beyond the lack of romance, the female characters on this show - with the exception of Claire, are really lacking. Simone is totally forgetable IMO. I really don't care at all about her as a character. Niki is One. Sick. Puppy. and I don't need spoilers to see where that situation is going...Jessica is going to take over. Hannah, who we've only seen in a brief clip and in the online graphic novel, is apparently going for the revenge factor...with Ted. And, based on what little I saw in that clip, I'm not impressed with the actress at all.
Charlie's arc with Hiro was way too short, and Eden, who was actually one of the stronger female characters in the series, got a quick exit, apparently due to behind-the-scenes issues.
That leaves Claire's bio mom, Matt's wife, Claire's loopy adoptive mom, Matt's FBI partner (who may be gone), Nathan's wife, and Nathan's mom, all of which are minor background characters.
Oh...and the yet to be seen woman in Vegas with the power of "seduction." Sheesh.
Contrast that with the male characters, of which several are strong and compelling.

Children don't have to have the same powers as their parents. Micah's power isn't the same as his Mom's or his Dad's.

Nathan knew of his power 6 months before Peter told him he could fly. He flew when he and his wife had their car accident.
And if you read my post a few pages back, I theorized that Nathan knowing that someone with powers killed his daughter, that would give him a reason to hate super powers and be in denial about his own, as well as Peter's.

I'm so glad you see it my way... LOL J/K.
I'm glad Nathan's her father. It just brings the circle of Heroes closer together. Plus, I think it opens up a whole new set of storylines. I'm just happy that they didn't go with some random stranger we didn't know.

The question is, when did the writers "know" who Claire's real father was?

And I suspect the shark has been jumped.
