I wanted to make an episode reference guide with a lot of the official episode information that's available from mostly official nbc-related sources all in one spot, with some information here and with information that can be found at links. I didn't know what would be optimal between only providing links and trying to fill the whole post with the information so that there were no links, but I'll try this layout for now. I made this mostly because at nbc, everything about one episode is not grouped by episode, but instead, the galleries do not reference the episode recaps, or the listing of the graphic novels don't show to what episode they may relate, so I thought I'd try to compile it this way and then add on as the season progresses. At least I won't have to start from scratch more than once! cool.gif

If you think the preview vids should also be added for each episode, I'll see if I can add 'em. And if you think this is a silly thing to do, that's fine, I won't be offended. Since this will be updated after an episode airs (at least in the U.S. or Canada), it shouldn't provide too many spoilers, however, the "Behind The Eclipse" interviews often also have promo images for future episodes, which are difficult to avoid; just fyi.

Besides the information provided below, for the do-it-yourself-ers out there, or if I haven't updated this thread, the main links for the episode descriptions at nbcumv, the links to full HEROES episodes at iTunes, recaps (mobile version), galleries (mobile version, starting with the ones labeled "General"), graphic novels, high-resolution promo pictures, Greg Beeman's Beaming Beeman blog, an index to the "Behind The Eclipse" interviews of the HEROES scribblers Joe Pokaski and Aron Coleite at ComicBookResources, and Jason Badower's blog, since he has posted some tidbits about the comics he's illustrated, are also provided. Also, if you didn't want to scour the interweb for HEROES videos, there is a new (beta) online video guide with a list of HEROES videos that can be found at this TVGVidList. It's not the most accurate listing, but it includes videos from nbc, ifilm, aol, and itunes, iirc, including the fan theories, although it currently erroneously shows that the full eps available from itunes are free.

Well, hopefully it can be helpful to more than just me... smile.gif

In looking to see what else was out there, I saw that the following pic (hosted at flickr) is a high-res bonus for people who might've liked the look of Future Peter and Niki from "Five Years Gone"!

The original link to the higher-resolution (1440x960 pixel) photo currently is here. cool.gif

The post length (number of characters) is different in the different forums, but it looks like this forum will allow at least one season's worth of info in a post, so I could continue, just by devoting another post to next season. I'll add the summer content (mostly the graphic novels, though I can post the links to the character profiles when they're available too) when I get the opportunity. What would be cool is if I could make the internal links, like in the forum rules post, so a person can "jump" to the ep they're looking for. I like that at another forum, the ERG thread provided the info "on demand". I'm kinda making up the format as I go, though, at the moment, so any suggestions would be appreciated. smile.gif

HEROES ERG for the '07-'08 year

Besides the information provided below, for the do-it-yourself-ers out there, or if I haven't updated this thread, the main links for the episode descriptions at nbcumv, the links to HEROES at Amazon's Unbox (and you can also get HEROES at Netflix the Wednesday are a new episode airs), recaps (mobile version), galleries (mobile version, starting with the ones labeled "Season 2 Premiere"), graphic novels, high-resolution promo pictures, Greg Beeman's Beaming Beeman blog, an index to the "Behind The Eclipse" interviews of the HEROES scribblers Joe Pokaski and Aron Coleite at ComicBookResources, and Jason Badower's blog, since he has posted some tidbits about the comics he's illustrated, are also provided.

Promos that were available before the Season 2 premiere (or before 24 Sep 2007):

HEROES ERG for the '08-'09 year

Besides the information provided below, for the do-it-yourself-ers out there, or if I haven't updated this thread, the main links for the episode descriptions at nbcumv, the links to HEROES at Amazon's Unbox (now called "Video on Demand", and you can also get HEROES at Netflix the Wednesday after a new episode airs, and last, HEROES is back at iTunes), recaps (mobile version), galleries (mobile version), graphic novels, high-resolution promo pictures, Greg Beeman's Beaming Beeman blog (or now here at 9thWonders), an index to the "Behind The Eclipse" interviews of the HEROES scribblers Joe Pokaski and Aron Coleite at ComicBookResources, and Jason Badower's blog, since he has posted some tidbits about the comics he's illustrated, are also provided. Also, if you didn't want to scour the interweb for HEROES videos, there is an online video guide with a list of HEROES videos that can be found at this TVGVidList. It's not the most accurate listing, but it includes videos from nbc, ifilm, aol, and itunes, iirc, including the fan theories, although it currently erroneously shows that the full eps available from itunes are free.

“VOLUME 3: VILLAINS” MAKES A TWO-HOUR SPECIAL DEBUT WITH REVELATIONS THAT WILL REDEFINE FAMILIAR CHARACTERS AND SHAKE THE SERIES TO ITS CORE -- The first chapter of “Volume 3: Villains” kicks off moments after shots rang out, as the shocking identity of Nathan’s (Adrian Pasdar) assassin and the reasons why the Texas press conference had to be cut short are revealed -- immediately throwing Peter (Milo Ventimiglia) and Matt (Greg Grunberg) into unexpected, uncharted territory. With his powers partially restored, Sylar (Zachary Quinto) decides a visit to Claire (Hayden Panettiere) could give him a boost. In New York City, thanks to Maya (Dania Ramirez), Suresh (Sendhil Ramamurthy) makes a startling breakthrough that could change the world -- or just destroy his. And who is Tracy Strauss? In the shocking second chapter of “Volume 3: Villains,” Angela (Cristine Rose) confronts her much-changed son, Peter, as the bursts of violence around them only hint to the catastrophes to come. First, Sylar declares war on the Company by attacking their main facility, and finds even more than he bargained for on Level 5. During a devastating battle with Elle (guest star Kristen Bell), a dozen savage criminals -- all with terrible abilities -- escape. Meanwhile, Claire discovers something new and unexpected about her abilities. Determined to reclaim his family’s terrible secret, Hiro and Ando track Daphne (guest star Brea Grant) to Paris. After a fateful night, Suresh is thrilled to find his research, his life and his relationship with Maya evolving in leaps and bounds. Stuck in unfamiliar territory, Matt finds a guide (guest star Ntare Mwine) to help him. Ali Larter and Jack Coleman star.

Sooo... What's cool is that I see at nbc that there is now an Episode Guide, linkin' the recaps with the episode photos and web exclusives (in general). That's cool that tptb finally got around to doin' that. I'll probably continue puttin' the stuff together here, too, for Season 4, at least for my own benefit, and I'll wrap up last season's stuff in the previous post with the summer gn's and iStory fun, too, since the previous seasons aren't currently shown in that format at nbc.

And - just fyi - a snipped url for the HEROES Episode Guide at nbc is the following: http://snurl.com/HEROES_EpGuide
