I need to see if I can still beta test the SG MMORPG. The company that developed it is out here in Mesa, AZ.

I think I will need to get cable and a DVR when I move.

Sooo... Any Stargate fans here?!? I got into forums like this one 'cuz of Stargate Atlantis way back in '04, and now, with SG1 done and Samantha Carter joining the Atlantis crew, it'll be fun to see what's up with the new season, which starts tonight!

Well son of a *****, why didn't i check this thread sooner! i own SG1 season 1,4 and SGA 2, i just want the ori series seasons 9 and 10. but a real collecter will want the mother of all series The Q Cronicles from StarTrek next gen. i havee the scriptbook already just have to wait for the price to go down.

I probably won't do the MMO since FFXI is my MMO of choice, and law school will eat up like 99.9% of my time in a month.

So, anyone else catch the premiere? I'm thinking that Michael's alive and well in the cloaked Jumper... 'Nother new one tonight (along with Doctor Who, I think)... They'll be on the dvr, at least.

Oh, and it was cool to see Rainbow Sun Francks again, too, even if it was briefly... I remember his vid where he moved to Canada just for the show, and was excited to see his face on a magnet (I think from Comic-Con), yet his role's now non-existent.

Bummer, no one else pays attention to Stargate... Well, here's the email about "Ghost in the Machine", and something sorta related, 4 emails in a row from 4 different studios.

Also, it looks like Michael Shanks is gonna at least guest star on Burn Notice... Cool.

Since Amanda Tapping is gonna be in "Sanctuary", is that why Roberto Picardo's the big cheese at Atlantis? And Ben Browder's got some new show to air on SciFi, too.

Yep... 2 years before I joined this site, I wanted to get involved (from the beginning) with SGA. That was the first show which I followed from the start and for which I joined fansites so I could keep up (I loved Firefly, but didn't get involved as a Browncoat until I saw that it got "foxed"...).

But after tonight's episode - *sadness* - it's comin' to an end (besides any future movies, like "The Ark of Truth" for SG1):

Well, Stargate: Universe will be coming out in 2009, and I think the online game is due to come out in the next year sometime.

Yeah, and the SGA movie will be out (on dvd) sometime this year, too...

So, if anyone had some extra dough and lived in Illinois, they could check out this Lego Asgard ship.

I missed the last season of Atlantis. Was it any good? I knew about that there was going to third series. I didn't know nothing about the casting until I saw the promo trailer on the serise finale of BSG. I was so shocked to see Robert Carlyle on the show. I like the idea of the show and hope it is done good.

fyi - Just watched episode 3 on SyFy, tonight. Stargate fan from the start, the movie, SG-1, and SG-A.

Well, there's a few SGU-related posts in the thread that could be moved to the new SGU thread, but that's up to the mods...

Anyway, I'm likin' the series so far. It's more serial than the previous franchises, and has a different look and feel to it, kinda BSG-y. Cool how they're usin' Ancient tech; I was wonderin' how Lou Diamond was gonna be on the show/ship. Usin' the stones is a cool work-around, imo.
