Ok, so youtube has episode two, though I don't know for how long it will stay under the radar.

I was too caught up in the story the first time around to really take notice of this, but watching it the second time I noticed the Nov. 8th newspaper about how Nathan won by a landslide.

This might be a topic already covered somewhere in here, but why kind of connection is there between his election and the explosion?

I should mention I'm of the "Nathan goes bad" camp, so naturally my mind has turned to conspiracy.

Then again, maybe I'm completely off base with this.

Thoughts?

Nah, Nathan may be a slime-ball, but I can't picture him for the supervillain types. Besides, who wants to be a congressman from a radioactive crater?

I wondered about this as well. How did he go from being 5 points down (or was it 10?) to winning by a landslide in just three weeks? Maybe his experience with flying helps him become more authentic. Or maybe he digs up something on his opponent.

I'm not ready to assign a conspiracy to any of the heroes who have been thus far identified. There's plenty of conspriacy outside their realm. Please don't let this be like The Dead Zone where the smarmy politician ushers in a nuclear holocaust.

Maybe Nathan uses his powers of flying to plant some type of scandal on his opposition. Or maybe Peter dies and he gets the sympathy vote.

Either way, I'm hooked!
