Full Version: Mysterious Girl at Bonfire
Right after Claire walked away with the QB at the bonfire, they showed a girl who looked really sad. She wasn't dressed in school colors. Did anyone else notice her? I've watched all three episodes, and I didn't recognize her. Does anyone know who she is?
I did notice her. I thought maybe it was Niki B but I guess not or else these boards would be goin nuts

Yeah, I noticed her, but I figured she was some girl who either wanted the QB guy or might have been raped by him before?
I think if it's not the QB who get Claire to the medic, then it's that girl who discover Claire while following them.

Isnt that girl the same girl that was talkin to clarie and the QB in the 2nd episode when claries friend(guy friend) trys to tell her that he lost the tape, then the cops come...

I thought that too, but there was something about the way she looked... Her color seemed off. Why would someone be at the bonfire and not decked out in school colors? I wonder if she will be explained at all?

I noticed this girl too! I have no idea where she came from, but she certainly seems like she'll be important. I don't think they would have focused on her for as long as they did if she didn't have some larger part to play.

I definitly say that past victim is the most likely. Although she could be a jealous ex that wants to take it out on Claire, which maybe would make Claire jet out of town.
She's saddend not mad ... past victim...
I believe she's the girl that was supposed to be introduced in 1.02 as the girl that was (Lori, I believe her name was) once popular but not anymore due to some kind of rumor!

I definately think she's one of the QB's rape victims. And no, she wasn't talking to this girl in episode 1.02, that was her fellow cheerleader, Jackie.
I definately agree with the "past victem" theory. I'm also wondering if she followed them out to the bleachers ... then saw what happened and CONFRONTS Claire when she shows up again (once she's sewn back up, of course, lol) OH! And how do you think they're gonna explain THAT one to the rest of the school?!?

You've got a point. She is not too, physically, dissimilar from Claire.
I think she was a previous victum. May not have been rape, but you know how the steroetype goes... I just wish I knew the rumor~ Don't think she's a super though.

It would appear to me that a TON of editing took place and some of what was to appear in episode 3, happend in 2, or not at all. I still don't remember the "hip and bohemian struggling actress"

This mystery girl is Lori, a girl who attends Union West High School with Claire. In episode 2 at the lockers she tries to get Brody's attention. It seems that either she likes Brody and is jealous of Claire or Brody has wronged her in some way and she is afraid for Claire. I'd say Mystery Girl is almost certainly Lori and that she is, indeed, a previous victim of Brody's. But of course, it wasn't darling Brody's fault, no, she ASKED for it, the damn ******!

Gotta say I'm disappointed that we didn't get to see the fallout from Matt's new "partner" almost being forced to shoot herself in the head. That's gotta cause some issues.

she is one of the QB's x girlfiends. she doesn't seem to be angry or jealous. she probably follows the two to the bleachers and helps claire when the QB gets scared of what he did and runs away
Could we presume that the actress could emote such feelings in just a look? Is it jealousy, as in "Girl, I could tear your heart out and stomp on it", or could it be pity, as in "Girl, you don't know what you're getting yourself into." Either way, it's good acting, without one word being spoken. 
Yeaaa I think she might like the quarterback or she knows about Claire(maybe she saw her on tv or something)

I would not be surprised if in a later episode the audience discovers that while Claire was amongst getting raped, this other cheerleader was watching. This mystery cheerleader also saw Claire get smacked around and die, and probably also witnessed her being carted off to the morgue.
So, aside from the person performing the autopsy, the supposed "nice guy" quarterback, this cheerleader is probably the only other person to see Claire die and then show up for school all well and good the next day. I think some serious ****** is about to his the proverbial fan for Claire.

For those of you who did not See the SD comic con version of the first 2 episodes. They rewrote the story and the episodes and reshot a lot of stuff. Below sounds like a list of things that were orignally going to be in the 3rd episode and got mixed in to the 2nd to give more time to film some of the new scences.

I was hoping clair will run away to New York when she actually wakes up since the whole place (Odessa) knows she's dead
I think she knew what he was going to do to Claire cause he did the same to her ...but she couldn't do anything
