I browsed through some of the posts here & I didn't see this posted anywhere. Did anyone notice that Mohinder's gun looks very similar, if not exactly alike, the one that Hiro picked up by Isaac's body in episode 2? Could this be a clue that Eden is in fact Sylar? Could the fact that Sylar's place was cleaned completely also imply that she is Sylar & that she cleaned it out while Mohinder went to the police? We don't really know if she went with him, which kinda irks me, even though she shows up with them when they go back there, but yeah.

Yeah, I'm fairly sure its the same gun. Just how it got there still remains to be seen. (it could be that the prop guys were just short on props that day smile.gif ) But it seems like it could be important. Mohinder might have emptied it at Sylar trying to save Isaac.

Well according to the answering machine conversation between Sylar and Mohinder's father, sounds to me like Sylar is a man. So unless Eden can deepen her voice or is in disguise I highly doubt she is Sylar.

I will have to rewatch ep. 2 and ep. 3 to check out the guns, so I can't quite answer your question right now. But that's an interesting theory, and if they look identical, that's a good correlation. The show does a great job of linking things together.

All in all, Eden "could" be some innocent girl along for the ride. Though a good guess, if we stay true to our assumptions of the writers for the show, is that they have an Ace up their sleeves.

Well, I guess the reason I'm leaning toward Eden & Sylar being one in the same is based on the theory that Sylar is a shafeshifter.

I'm not a big fan of the Sylar as a Shapeshifter theory, so for me, that rules out Eden. And, even if that were possible - logically, why would Sylar be hanging out with Mohinder. He is obviously capable of tracking the supers on his own...

Back to the topic at hand though...

When I rewatched, I did not think the two guns looked I-den-tee-cal (My cousin Vinny anyone?) The one that is in Isaacs apartment is bright and shiny, silver. The one Mohinder has is more of a gunmetal grey. The shapes are similar, but the one in Isaacs apartment looked slightly boxier... if that makes sense.

I am also not too fond of the Sylar being a shapeshifter theory. As previously mentioned, based on the voicemail, I think Sylar is a man. And if Eden was Sylar, Eden gave the book found from the laptop to Mohinder. Sylars address was in the book. Wouldn't make much since to me. I'm not saying the girl is innocent, but I don't think she is Sylar.

I also do not think the two guns look like they are the same.

Sylar apparently knows more about the supers than Mohinder (or his dad, for that matter) based on what we saw at the apartment, so I doubt Sylar would be hanging around Mohinder for information on THAT.

Eden would probably be working for HRG. To what end, we're not sure yet.

I wouldn't make anything out of the model of Mohinder's gun. It looks like a tricked-out 1911 type .45. It's only the most popular model of pistol in the United States for the last 95 years (not kidding, this pistol has been available without significant changes in its basic design for 95 years). The one Mohinder has is heavily customized (the mods on this one are for competition, not combat). You're not going to find a compensator and a flared magazine well on a combat pistol. You don't see many police carry them because you don't want to hold someone at gunpoint with a single-action pistol (the trigger pull is far lighter than a double-action pistol). However, they are an exceptional pistol for military use and civilian self-defense (where you either shoot someone or you don't, you aren't arresting anyone). I own three of them. It wouldn't be a coincidence to see two or more people (at least in the US) with this same type of pistol.

I'm happy to belive that there are many identical gunns but the show is slowly showing us paterns. If there is a connection with the gunns i say mohinder finds out who sylar is targeting (issac) and goes to stop him. He is probably killed and removed by sylar (but this does not matter because it won't happen Hiro Nakamura will stop it from happening)

I can't belive that no one has said anything about the time line we have been tricked MAJOR . work it out and you have the answer. sorry i don't have the answer but just the idea.
