Does anyone know if Heroes is being aired in Europe?
I'm not sure where in Europe you are, if you can receive Astra satellite transmissions, but the Sci-Fi channel in the UK will be showing Heroes in early 2007. Link is here:
http://www.forum.scifiuk.com/index.php?showtopic=992"London, 13th September, 2006: The SCI FI channel today announces that it picked up its first LA Screenings product for three years. The two thrilling UK television premiere shows - Heroes and Who Wants To Be A Superhero? ? were acquired by SCI FI?s Head of Acquisitions and will be at the heart of its early 2007 prime-time play.
Predicted to be the next Lost by respected US entertainment title TV Guide, Heroes is a corner-stone of US network NBC?s autumn schedule. It follows the tale of a group of ordinary people who discover they have special powers; powers that will ultimately change the world. Cinematic in scope and ambition, Heroes was the most talked about show online in the US this summer and has been commissioned for an initial 13 episode run. Distributed outside the US by NBC Universal International Television Distribution, Heroes will play on SCI FI in quarter one of next year.
The Programming Director at SCI FI today commented, ?It comes as no surprise that Heroes is one of NBC?s hottest bets for this coming season. An awesome, sexy, exhilarating drama with enough jaw-dropping moments to keep you gripped from start to finish, it is the undiscovered gem of this year?s LA Screenings. It?s X-Men meets Lost, and viewers are going to love it.""
Hope that helps.
