After Claire talked to the QB, do you think she thinks that the crash is responsible for his amnesia? Is this going to affect her future actions?
Maybe HRG is really a great guy after all (he's let two heroes go and scrambled the QB's brain).

That was one way to kill the guy without actually killing him. All that he was is dead and gone, just leaving behind an empty shell to be filled.

Well, I'm not sold on HRG being purely good, but his actions were that of someone protecting his little girl with the options available to him. Granted revenge could be perceived as evil, but I don't think he's in the mode of killing people (heroes or otherwise).

Is there a way to edit the topic title? Looking back, I need a spoiler alert and less info in the topic title.

I thought that was a nice twist to wipe out his memory. Second chance.

Maybe the Heroes powers weren't "ripe" yet? The HRG did say she was at a crucial time in her life or something.

I think Claire is going to have some residual guilt about the QB's memory loss. I don't think she should, but I think she will. This is going to affect her.

The crucial time HRG mention was Claire being confused on whats going on with her. If you where a cheerleader and suddenly you can heal really fast wouldn't you be freaked out? Confused? Scared? Shes afraid if people found out, she'll be an outcast, pointed as a freak. She has no idea what is going on right now. This is a crucial time for her.

I'm going to agree with Mazinga, I'm pretty sure Claire will be reluctant to use her powers like that again. I hope she finds out that the QB's memory wasnt her fault.
HRG just got cooler.

I dont think it was his choice to let the heros go , Claires dad is his "boss" ( or so far it seems that way) so he didnt have a choice in this area .. just do as yyour told or else !

Yeah, I agree with you. She shouldn't, but she will grapple with the issue that revenge isn't virtuous and all that. The same kinda philosophy that Hiro is working out ... with great power comes great responsibility. But at the same time, she'll recognize that she had to do
something. The other girl who witnessed Claire and Brodie going off together was there for a reason ... to justify Claire's future actions.
The interesting part will be whether she will blame herself for his apparent amnesia. I'm guessing she's going to feel pretty terrible about that.

I think what everyone is missing is the extent on how much the MBG can whipe everything.
He only whiped a day of Matt's life, and he just went in and deleted 17 or more years of memory, except for speach and stuff.
Amazing control.

i think HRG has that kind of persona where he thinks hes doing whats right for the greater good...even though the world may think its wrong. it just depends on perspective so he can still be good in many aspects and "bad" in others.

Well i'm still leaving an eye open on HRG.. i cant really say he's good or bad..well so far all of his recent action are acting good to me.. you make sence about how far he can erase some one memory.. so why did he just erease only one day from Matt life..

Mr. Bennett obviously did something with Matt when he was on the table... Matt woke up and didnt seem to be in much pain. Then he told MBG to whipe him clean. I think that he wanted to erase the last day or so that they had him and did whatever they did to him.
Its kinda funny I was just thinking...
Instead of Mr. Bennett.. how about Dr. Bennett..
Things that make you go hmmmmm..

I'm pretty sure they'll all just chalk the memory loss up to amnesia or brain damage from the "accident".
As for Mr. Bennet, I'm fairly positive he's not evil but that certainly doesn't mean he's a good guy.

HRG is the classic Magneto personality character.
Best of intentions (at least to himself) but the delivery could use some work.
I think in messing with the quarterback, he is struggling with some deeply personal things.
IF he is a bad guy (i still think so) how hard woud that be to have to "bring in" your own daughter...adopted or not. He is a total wild card at this point.
I think he is more of a fulcrum that things can tip on than we even think.
Perhaps he is trying to get claire to trust him so completely that she wont have a choice but to do what he says.
Perhaps he really does care about her. Remember back to when he was watching her tape...some self reflection going on.."this is going to hurt me more than you" kind of moment.
OR he's just REALLY good at headgames..

HRG is conflicted. He knows about Claire's power but probably does not want his bosses to know about Claire. I must admit he is one of the more intriguing non-super characters.

Something tells me he is more then just a pawn and he must have some super power for Mr. Cleanout to do all his bidding.
