The problem is figuring out how long he can retain the powers and how far away from the person he can use them. He stated in ep 1 that when he got up in the morning his foot hovered above the ground.. I know Nathans his brother and they see each other alot but I doubt they sleep together.

I think Peter has a sort of "Leech power" and he takes powers from other people, like he only flies when he's around Nathan, and he only painted when he was around Isaac.

And yes, I know it doesn't explain the hospital, but I have a theory for that too. I think Isaac might have been in the hospital from OD, and could have been near Peter.
