http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,226092,00.htmlThis isn't really a true story about Heroes but I do think it's interesting that the show following Heroes (and the one that probably got the most publicity from NBC prior to its airing) may get axed shortly.
What show would you like to see at 9 pm? Personally I'd like to see them move Heroes to 9 pm and put Vegas back on before it. I think Heroes can clean CSI Miami's clock as that show is aging disgracefully.

I can't believe that NBC might cancel Studio 60. I think they should wait and see. They almost cancelled Family Ties and that became one of NBC's biggest hits.

They moved Friday Night Lights to the hour after, but that might be gone toooo.

It would be a shame is Studio 60 is cancelled so soon. It is way too self important, but that level of writing needs to be on TV. I hope it finds an audience.

However NBC has a decent lead in to Studio 60. If it can't maintain the viewers from Heroes its gonna have a hard time. I for one thought it might be good, and watched it after the 3rd Heroes episode but it lost my interest quick.

Eh. Pilot was okay but the following episodes couldn't sustain my interest. Besides I was busy rewatching Heroes to see what I might have missed the first time through.

Friday Night Lights...isn't that a show about high schoolers? And it was on on a friday night? What high schoolers going to be at home watching tv on a friday night?

They are not canceling it yet. In fact they ordered four more episodes, like FNL. But neither is getting a full season order.

I wanted to like
Studio 60. I mean, I never liked
The West Wing, but Aaron Sorkin's
Sports Night is one of my all-time favorite television shows.
Still, after seeing the cliffhangers from
Heroes on Monday night, I usually don't have the desire to see much else.

I want Heroes to stay right where it is. The way the schedule for Monday nights is right now is perfect for me. At 8 I can tune it for Heroes and then directly after I can switch to CBS at 9 and watch CSI: Miami. This way I get to see two of my favorite tv shows back to back without having to decide which one to watch. I may be having trouble come January since 24 will be coming back but maybe I'll just watch my bro's 24 tape after I watch Heroes.

I don't care about Studio 60. I do like Perry as an actor.
I watched about 10 - 20 minutes of West Wing as that's all it took to make me pretty well hate it.
They could put reruns of Leave it to Beaver for all I care after Heroes. It's basically the only program I slot time to watch anymore in a regular way.
Next week, I'll be in Disney on monday, and I already know I'm going to be at the Hotel watching TV instead of at the park when it's Heroes time!

I'm not a big fan of Studio 60, it'd have to be a pretty impressive replacement to prevent me from flipping over to "What About Brian" which is so cheesy, but I can't stop watching it.

FOX News saying Studio 60 is getting canned? By Rogar Friedman no less? Yeah, that's probably accurate.

Studio 60 never captured my interest. Whenever I see Perry I think of Chandler, which is definitely a bad thing. IMO,
30 Rock is much better.
I think another reason why I don't like it is that my brain is running 100 miles an hour thinking about all the ways
Heroes could turn out.

yeah i'm with you...and a few others apparently, but Studio 60 didn't cut it for me. And after Heroes? Forget about it, I'm useless after Heroes, usually I'm so despondent I have to wait a whole week to see what happens next, I'm no good for a good hour at least...
Studio 60 has a great cast, decent writing, but the show in general sucks. I don't care about the characters and love interests...though as actors I like them all.
Perhaps another Sports Night would come along from axing Studio 60, which I agree with an earlier poster that THAT was a great show.
Try again, Aaron, you'll get it just right...
in the meantime, bring on Heroes!
It's on at 9pm pacific by the way, who are these lucky people that can see at 8? I'm jealous...

Yeah man, Friday Night Lights is awesome, but I think they should keep it at Tuesdays, hopefully this Monday night spot will kick up the viewership, but i don't think a permantent switch would be good. For one thing, It would lose all hope of bringing in the audience that held the motion picture in such high regard, as they should be tuning in to monday night football. Personally, if the show turns away from the things that made the movie so great and becomes a high school drama, I am out. At the same time, I am not sure where the football based drama is going to come from, as that aspect of the show seems pretty settled.. maybe a shift from "can't lose" to "be perfect". Anyways, I like it for tuesday

My wife liked "Studio 60" but me...well frankly there's very VERY little TV I actually watch let alone watch on a regular basis, and even FEWER new shows that grab my interest.
and yes, like many of you, by the time "Heroes" was over that would be all I could concentrate on...trying to switch gears to some show about a TV show just lost me totally.
"Friday Night Lights" does nothing for me either...I mean, is it a sports show? A drama? a soap opera? a Teen orientated show?...dont know, and dont care.

Agreed!
What they Really need to do after Heroes... is show another episode of Heroes...
How Fun!

It's been over two decades since I planned my weekly schedule around a TV show. Heroes has won that distinction, and it doesn't matter what comes afterwards - the TV goes off. It takes a while to process the episode. Hope it stays at 9 PM.

I have read of Studio 60's demise in numerous places. They ordered the 3 (or 4?) episodes due to a contract agreement with Sorkin. I suspect it isn't going to be long and it will get the ax.
I read somewhere that the ratings have been going steadily downward since the premiere.
