Exactly. Every good story line needs a setup period. It's where you tie up some loose ends (like that Niki DID frame DL and Eden WAS working for Mr. Bennet) and open up a whole lot of new ones.

The next episode will be killer.

Then again, I thought this episode was killer. But whatev.

I dont think we watched the same episode..

MANY questions were answered.. I like that..

Maybe I have been watching Lost too long and am jaded that we never really get answers..

but I LIKE answers..

Eh, I was not thrilled by this episode either. Maybe the show has just set me up too much to expect fireworks every week and what was essentially a transition episode caught me unaware. That being said, it certainly wasn't boring to me, although since Niki is the character I'm least interested so far, I might have been biased since this one largely focused on her. Also, I feel like they're asking me to invest a little to soon in DL without letting me get used to him.

Above all else, no Matt Parkman = boo.

I wasn't floored by this episode like I was by the rest, but that being said it was still good.

If you don't like my comments you can ignore them..

Seriously, the fact that I didn't like this episode doesn't give you the right to give me crap about it. I love heroes, it's just that they didn't reveal anything on tonights show that was new. Some of it may be new to people who don't spend time on message boards, but for me, seeing as how nothing in the show was new, it was boring. They really only concentrated on one character. But whatever, now that they've introduced DL we can get back to the good 'ol heroes we all know and love.

And btw... lighten up.

on a lighter note

Not to mention I hate how Peter has that lip thing like Rockey...

"ADDRIAAAAAN"

I don't know if you were aware of this or not, but he plays rocky balboa junior in the new movie. http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0893257/

Personaly I really like the Nikki story arc. So many questions and I just love creating theories and ideas as to what's going on.

The character(s) I can't stand are the Petrelli brothers. /yawnfest.

Whoe you misunderstand i just said this episode was slow paced.

it shure did answer alot of questions and set things up for next week and i understand that episodes like this are necisary to further the story along but not much happened really alot of nice little moments and alot of info but not to much action

i like action

It was great to see Niki interact with Niki. Interesting 2-sides of the same coin.

I'm pretty sure Claire is finding and figuring stuff out for herself and she's NOT liking what she knows. It'll be interesting to see her respect for her father turn into fear/hate/sadness.

I loved this ep, but I have loved every ep, so far.. no real snoozers in my book.

Poor Hiro, tho.. sad.gif

I think some of you argue a little too much. The episode was surely slow paced and tied up some loose ends from the last episode, but nonetheless kept me watching (and everyone else I'm sure) and waiting for what was going to happen next.

But if you were really watching, you should have realized that it created a lot more questions, things to think about. That's what will keep the threads going for episode six until we see the next episode.

I didn't know.

... I still don't like it. I just don't like that character in general. Too irritating

I don't understand how anybody could think they didn't reveal anything new in this episode. Here are some of the new things they revealed.

1. DL's power
2. DL being able to take somebody out by putting his hand inside them.
3. Niki's alternate was the one who stole the $2 million dollars.
4. Niki's alternate was the one who killed the guys buried in the desert and the one who killed the guys at the poker game.
5. Claire's supposed biological parents are in reality not her biological parents.

There were probably more but I don't have a lot of time to think of them right now.

You left out "Eden works for HRG." smile.gif
hempingway
I personally dug the story. Fleshed out the DL/Niki dynamic and left you wondering what sides they'd both really be on. 2 protective parents, both fighting for the welfare of their child? Oh, and they happen to have superpowers...

I rather liked this "setup episode", it really set up alot of things for future episodes.
