BASSMANBOB
I found this episode to be the most boring one yet. Mostly all talk.

Hopefully it just the exception and not the rule.

Peace.

I must say that I agree. It seems to me that this was just filler for a more importamt episode to come.

I too agree with the above. It was a little lack luster BUT will still got a little more in depth with Nikki, and the whole DL phasing thing, and also the set-up that was the meeting of Claire and her "bio-parents", which was obviously faked.

All in all and less meaty episode, but still got a little further along.

I agree that it was slower, but you just can't keep up a character drama, which this show is self-billed as, with contanst high intensity action. They fast-paced the first few to draw the audience in, now they have to really build the characters so people like them and identify with them, before they blow off everyone's doors as the arc comes to fruition in the finale. You just can't have all the episodes be like the beginning of the show was...

I bet the next few episodes will be like this, then on the season finnale will be the best!

Personally, I found it not in the slightest boring.

So, there were no showy special effects (please cut out doing the ripple effect when DL phases), so there was not a huge action sequence, so not all the characters featured prominately, so Peter wasn't in it much. The episode had a lot of character development in it, not just Niki, DL, Micah & Jessica, but also Hiro, Ando, Mr Bennett, Claire and Mohinder (the short scene with him and Eden was very telling).

I am sorry you found it boring. /shrug

whatever.

I enjoyed this episode alot. I think they Needed to make a point that Nikki was gonna either come together... or die.
asnpcwiz
I completely agree with you...this episode had a high snore factore.

I loved it.. They provided us some answers..and more questions..

No it was not that action packed but not every episiode needs to be.. There needs to be time to tell stories...

I didn't find it boring. I like that we were able to finally figure out what Niki's power is. Besides being a nutjob she's got superstrength.

I was hoping Eden wasn't going to be a plant. When I saw HRG talking on the phone to her I let out a big WTF?!?
DarkHeroJ
it wasnt boring. Damn it stop complaining. I liked this episode and it gave us alot of info and the fight between niki and DL was awsome. Its alot better than the previous episode IMO

I disagree that the episode was boring. We FINALLY got to meet DL and get a little insight into his and Niki's relationship. And now that DL's run-off with Micah and doesn't trust Niki at all (even though it wasn't "Niki" that betrayed him but he doesn't know that)...it'll be cool to see where that goes and how it resolves.

and the reveal of Eden working with Mr. Bennett. And Mr. Bennett getting word of Peter's crazy story about meeting the future Hiro and "saving the cheerleader." And Eden showing up on Isaac's doorstep...what's she going to do/find out? Does she know about Claire? There are still so many mysteries and further questions coming up.

I feel like the episode followed at the same pace/style as the first few episodes, it's just that for those of us watching from the beginning, it's not so new anymore and we're getting to know these people. I think that's a good thing.

I wasn't bored, I loved it, and some necessary story development took place.

Nope, not boring at all. Set up a lot, moved the plot forward, answered a few small questions, and of course, that DL/ikiN throwdown.

I find character build-up more fascinating than empty fast-paced action.
Franzinator
I think it was a little slower but definatly needed to build more of the story to show the better points. I would like to see more nathan peter and hiro but thats just me and I'm sure it will come!

That's right, it wasn't boring...it just wasn't long enough! lol..I never want this show to end, and then it does and a whole week has to go by before we get to the next thing. Ugh, so frustrating. But only cause it's such a good show!
There was tons to get into, the fake bio-parents, and HRG learning about saving the cheerleader and a guy who can bend time and space, and then his working with Eden...(which I saw coming, she seemed to handle that gun several episodes back rather well, plus rather quick in believing such far fetched ideas from Mohinder..)

and then DL, wow he's got powers, and with Niki, Micah for sure must have some kind of power yet to bloom between the both of them.
Now - I have a hard time believing Niki was the one to attack those guys playing poker. What connection did she have with them that she needed to do that? that Ikin alter ego person, she seems to only do such things when it's self-defense only..but I guess that's as far as what they have shown anyhow. Is she really an evil alter ego? Can't wait to see more on that. I had hopes of her being powerful, but good.

Can't wait for next week's show!
Roland
It may have been a little slower than some episodes but it was definitely not boring.
Shelly
I didn't think it was boring, I loved it. But I did wish Peter was in the epi more, and Nathan was actually in the epi.. I missed him.
