Now, we all agree that this episode was a little slow, but we did learn some important things. And of course, Hiro just made the whole thing worth watching again with his time freezing, and his brief conversation with Peter:

"I had a sword."

His expression there just made the scene for me.

i love hiro, he is my fave so far. but as far as the episode being slow or boring? i just dont get.
this series reminds me a lot of m. night's movie "unbreakable", which was not an action packed film, but sooooo good!

Yes in this show like unbreakable, a little goes a long way. suspense is the name of the game here.

I think we also learned that Future Hiro and Present Hiro will never meet up.

That's how I describe it to people. A cross between Lost and Unbreakable (my fave movie), and that gets them to tune in...

I agree! The "action" in Heroes is very subtle but extremely smart. It's what makes this program better than just about anything else on TV.

Or they will.

And bad things will result.

They wont meet up, because both the future and present Hiro know that if they meet each other they will create a rift and destroy everything...

But I have to say, the best part was when Peter told him he had a sword, his expression was great!

But he forgot to tell him he had a goatee as well...

...and that he could speak English.

Hiro is easily the star of this show, his character, his lines and his acting.

I was going ...awwww-(not to get too sappy) I was able to see his heart when he regretted not saving those thugs. You can just see his remorse. Ando is right about the do over. Hiro definately has the most maturity for being a hero.
BNN(bad news niki) would have killed Hiro too if he was there- and Ando. Then where we be- without a Hiro?

Oh did you guys and ladies see that part when he fell down after he realized what kind of cards he gave Ando- at the poker table?
Hahaha! I realized that he didn't have or give much time to organizing the cards well.
