Full Version: Can somebody fill me in?

Captain Skull
Unfortunately, I had a exhausting day, and fell asleep for about the last 15 minutes of the episode. Can anyone fill me in on how the episode ended and whatnot?

The last scene I saw was when Niki and D.L. discovered the dead bodies (the poker players).

(If spoilers are an issue then perhaps the info could be PMed to me)

Thank you!

You too? laugh.gif I'm gonna catch it Friday on the sci-fi channel and record it then as well to scrutinize it for anything else I might've missed even as I watched it...suggestion: DO THE SAME! wink.gif

Television Without Pity is the first place I look for recaps. It does take a couple days for the full recap to go live, but right now they have the "recaplet" that isn't bad. Will fill ya in.

It shouldn't be spoiler info though, because the episode has aired.

Niki and DL go to the hideout, and then leave suddenly because the poker players have been gutted.

Niki confides in DL that she has seen something like that before, and explains about Lindermans' goons. DL doesn't believe her.

Niki goes crying in her room, the one with the huge mirrors. Yup, we know what's coming... Niki has a Green Goblin moment, talking things over with Ikin (although, not as good as Willem Dafoe, by any means, ha ha!) Ikin tells Niki that yup, as we 9th wonders board readers already knew, she is the girl who took over the operation, stole Lindermans money, and then killed DL's crew. Which, she then set him up for.

She tells Niki where the money is, and that Niki must take it and run now. That DL will figure it out, and take Micah away from "them." Niki doesn't seem to believe her (I mean, would you?)

We see Niki crawling around her attic... pulling out a silver suitcase, which she opens. Money, lots of it (I suppose we're supposed to believe it's the 2 mil, yeah, right. And a handgun... NO not the same one as the exterminator OR in Isaac's apartment.) She drops it down onto her bedroom floor from the opening to the attic. Then drops down herself...

To find DL behind her. They fight - in a rather cool kind of way. Basically, she throws him against a wall. Micah comes in, Niki tells him they're rearranging furniture, then shuts the door. When she turns back, DL is gone. They end up on the bed, where they then fight (no, really) ending up with his hand going through her abdomen, coming out around her chest, and chokin her. Yeah, trippy.

She's out cold on the ground, Micah comes in, DL takes him, they leave... it's unsure whether Niki is alive or dead (my money is on alive.)

Then, we see Mohinder and Eden. Mo tells Ede he's leaving NY. She insists he'll be back, blah, blah, blah. She kisses him (blech, blech, blech.) Then continues insisting... blah, blah, blah.

We then cut to HRG. (can't remember if you'd have seen this, sorry if it's repetitious.) HRG and Mrs. HRG are in his office? eavesdropping on Claire with the bio-rents. He gets a phone call - looks at the caller Id, then tells Mrs. that its work. She leaves. We hear Eden's voice telling HRG that Mo has left. Tells him about their convo about the painter, Peter, etc. Then asks what HRG wants her to do about the Precog (Isaac, I'm assuming.) HRG says "Bring him in."

Wow, lots.. Claire is talking to her mom after the bio-rents leave. Mom and her blather for a second. Then, mom mentions that she's surprised HRG found bio's. That they looked once before, when C was a baby, because she had a chromosomal thing going on and they wanted to test the rents. They couldn't find bio-rents then. Claire of course perks up (like the rest of us) at the mention of chromosomal thing. Mom then seems to backpedal and say, Nothing really, just a little cough.

We see HRG walking bio-rents outside. Their conversation is very little "Thanks for coming" etc. Then bio-dad says something like "If you need anything else" in such a way, we all know that HRG hired fake rents to come see Claire.

Cut to Isaac, and his doorbell rings. He opens to find Eden there. And, sadly, that's where the Tivo cut off, although I hear not much else happened.

Sorry if I repeated stuff you've already seen. Questions, let me know.

Hey, my TIVO did the same thing. What gives. My wife said I botched the TIVO settings. Anyone know why this happened?

It happened because NBC is doing the same thing FOX is doing during primetime, which is letting each show run a couple minutes long, ie that a show that starts at 7:00, ends at 8:02, the next show starts at 8:02 and goes till 9:04, then the next show starts at 9:04 and runs till 10:06...so in effect, they end up with an extra 6 minutes of air time during primetime, then they cut the next couple shows after primetime short to get them back on schedule.

Why do they do this? Not to mess with those of us who use DVR's (suppossedly) but simple because it allows them 6 extra minutes of commercial time during primetime! Which is when they can charge the most for their ads!

Be like me, always set your DVR to record an extra 10 minutes after any show in primetime!

Ha ha... I know. I saw many on another thread peeved about this.

My tivo usually catches it - like Desparate Housewives records until 10:01 a lot of times. Which just then screws up the tivo for other times though, when I want to record more than one program and that stinking 2 minutes interferes. Ha ha!
