When compiling spoilers for the 9thWonders Heroes Spoilers Forum one of my favorite elements, thus far, is seeing some of the titles for episodes that are coming up.
While I'm not going to spoil you here on the main page (you can go to that thread for that), some of the titles really catch my attention.
For Smallville the tradition has been to go with one-word titles. Friends was always "The One With..." Me, I personally like the titles that are puns or plays on words, like "Christmas Presence." Episode #5 of Heroes has a title like that. (And with a title like that one, can "Simone & Simone" be far behind? Ouch, that hurt!)
But even more fun is guessing what an episode will be about just from a title. Russell T. Davies, the creator of the BBC's new version of Doctor Who, points to the classic Who title "The Ark in Space" as an example of a title that explains it all in four words. It's about an ark. In space. A movie called "Snakes on a Plane?" It's likely about snakes. On a plane.
I can't wait to see what titles the creators of Heroes come up with for this show. Already a few of them have me very intrigued.
Remember, Heroes premieres September 25 on NBC!
