Is anyone else left in the dark about how he got out of an apparent robbery in the convenient store? It was never mentioned.

Perhaps they didn't think it was relevant?

Maybe HRG took him in again? lol

Well, he is a cop... but I stll don't really like how they just left that open...
catman20716
he never robbed anything.

It looked like he just left the store without even taking the things that he went in there after.
Kungfuyu
It just showed that when everyone was directing their thoughts at him, he couldn't concentrate or focus.

We know he wasn't robbing the place. But the other epople in the store thought he was when they saw the gun and then he passed out...

More than likely they called paramedics, or he woke up (after I'm sure one of them took the gun) and identified himself as an officer. End of conflict.

Maybe we'll find out later?

That's why I said "Well, he is a cop..." I figure that one of those explanations is very likely, but why not just give us that 2 minute scene, or at least make a reference to it (his cop buddies joshing him about it or something). I just feel that they could have done something to better clear that up.
Marchon2884
Or maybe they're leaving these points in Matt's life slightly ambiguous for a reason. I'm thinking that we'll get some explanations later as to what has been happening, how he "gets out" of some of these sticky situations. It's too big of a hole in between episodes for them NOT to notice it, and I figure that, somehow, they're going to use that hole to reveal something. Meanwhile, it keeps us guessing and makes us wonder.

I hope that Marchon is right and there's some explanation for what's going on with Matt; if not, these are HUGE omissions. I mean, I can totally believe that people would realize that Matt wasn't robbing the store, that he was a cop, and that he might be able to pick himself up and recover on his own. But they really can't keep writing him into a dangerous situation and not explaining how he gets out of it!

An explanation would indeed be very cool.

I feel instead of focusing on how he escaped the goodie shop, how about what a hose beast his wife is messing around with his partner.

I agree - I mean granted men for the most part will f@$k anything given the opportunity - but damn not only did the partner hit but said she was fine. . . . please
MightyLorg
Yeah chances are he came to and finally flashed the badge and explained the situation. No need to keep going with that unimportant part. I think it was just a way of them say that he is still very new to his powerand he doesnt have total control over it yet. Which is good cause it seemed like he was WAY to proficent with its uses when he first got it.
