first of all for the people who think peter is sylar, please allow me to humor you. sylar has a beard we suspect, right? when nathan visits peter to talk about HRG "kidnapping attempt", is peter growing...a beard?! =O lol anyway back to my theory

I think sylar is out to kill all of the heroes because he has a religious background and maybe he doesnt believe in evolution. He could see them as souls who must be "saved" in the sense that he must kill them.

He might believe that they are demons on earth or possessed by the devil or something and want to kill them for that reason. (By extension, the "forgive me" thing could be because he has "evil powers" as well.)

I just don't get it. What got people thinking that Peter is Sylar in the first place? He's never even come close to seeming like Sylar to me.

Funnily enough it never ocurred to me either and I still don't follow the speculation.

Something to do with attributing multiple powers to Sylar - absorbing them from the brains of his victims. Absorbing powers - Peter.

Or something like that.

Humm... still don't get it really. Who comes up with these theories? They're crazy theories. Anyways, if Peter were Sylar I think he would have been a bit more messed up. And he's never really seemed like the type to go cutting peoples heads open for their brains. You know?

If Sylar only kills Heroes then why did he kill that little girls parents in the 3rd or 4th epi?

The theory would be that the girl's father has powers (he was the one with his brains removed). The mother was killed because she was just there.
