Claire is talking with her father, when Eden comes out of the "authorized personnell only" door. I saw the expression on Claire's face, and it changed in a way that suggested "what is she doing here"?
After Claire left, Eden said that she didn't know that Claire was going to be here today, also supporting the idea that they met before.

I immediately thought that her reaction indicated some sort of recognition - she definitely did not react to some random employee talking to her dad.
However, she seemed to be over it by that night working on the homecoming banner on the living room floor.
Next week is going to be awesome!

I agree, the reaction seemed a bit off. The type of reaction that seems like nothing, but turns out to be something in future episodes.

she may have been the previous other woman...or so thought of by the mental mother.

im not one bit shock about Eden's reaction...first off she and Mr. Bennett are working undercover trying to gathering info concerning ppl with special power...since Claire has no idea her father knows anything about the special power..of course Eden and Mr. Bennett are going want to do stuff secretly..especially not wanting to leak anything so Claire would know.

I took it as more of a "Holy sheep-dip, this is the girl we're trying to save from getting killed tomorrow at her own homecoming" type of look.
She knows who Claire is because she is working with Claire's father to prevent that from happening. So she didn't want to say the wrong thing, like: "Dead Cheerleader walkin'." I don't think it runs any deeper than that.
But, I'm willing to entertain the possibility that I may be wrong.

Heh, although it might be funny if there was like a green line painted on the floor that Claire was walking down...
Okay, but seriously now, that's a very plausible theory that isn't too over the top.
When I first saw the look though, I definately did wonder, had they met somewhere and I didn't remember? It was a very interesting look.

It's not Eden's reaction that had me rewind that scene, it was the look that
Claire gave to Eden. It was the way Claire's expression changed that made me think she's seen Eden before.

I just think Claire was suprised and Eden was thinking this is the girl in the paintings.

That's what I thought as well. She (Eden) seems to care for the subjects she & Mr. Bennett are tracking, kidnaping, studying. Perhaps thats a nature of her power.

I think it was a significant look. Maybe the 2 are related - sisters maybe? They do have HRG in common.

I agree with Odin, Eden was surprised to bump into the girl who is slated to die tomorrow and Claire's reaction, to me, just looked like "why is she looking at me like that?". I didn't sense any recognition.
"Dead Cheerleader Walking" -
First "lol" all day.

Clarie's expression was something to make a not of. Her and Eden have probably met before. On another not, what is her father's job anyway?

Mr. Bennet seems to be what they call "Senior Management" at the Primatech Paper Company, which is just a front for the superhero tracking agency. How high up the management chain he is, I'm not sure.

Claire's no dummy, and though she's devoted to her father, perhaps she has seen a little too much of her father and Eden together before (six months ago?), working as close as they do.
Maybe she suspects an affair, as his father is probably very dodgy when it comes to explaining all the time he spends with Eden. Remember, he found her and evidently either cleaned her up (from drugs) or helped her to use her powers for good rather than evil. That would take a lot of time together, and many many skipped dinners.
That might explain the awkwardness. And usually when your at an office your father will introduce you to anyone he bumps into...and he didn't, another indication that they have seen each other before.

Just a thought, maybe Claire has seen Eden before but the Haitian has swiped her memory. He might not have done a good enough job.
What do you think?

I'm of the "Eden and Mr. Bennett have some sort of past" school of thought. I think that there's some sort of shady business involving HRG and Eden that Claire has seen or something. She gives Eden a very strange look before Eden gives her one and Eden does comment that she "didn't know" Claire would be there. I'm hopeful we'll see some answers in the 6 months ago episode.

I think part of what "the Haitian" does is to focus the power.
That is what is meant by cleansing.
So Claire was cleansed, but still remembers things in a "deja-vu" kinda-way.
You know when you meet someone and they look familiar . . .but you're not sure how or where you know this person from.
Have we seen "the Mark" on Claire's shoulder yet (like Ted, Matt )?
