dude Abraxas i posted this in the spoiler discussion page too to see if more people will see it...i can't help you but i'm sure if enough people see it some one will be able too...
Abraxas
This is the file:

There must be someone around here who can translate that, right? I looked at it and I can't do it. I already have trouble telling the symbols apart, much less translate it. And I guess direct translation is not possible, anyway. No clue.

But I definitely want to know what is written on that file...

By the way, I can't believe that nobody brought this up so far...there are 834 threads on Hiro and time travel in general, but nobody cares about this clearly readable file? blink.gif
If nobody can translate it, that is another thing.

And there's more...the shirt Sanjog is wearing? It's riddled with those same symbols...is something actually written all over the boy?
That would be something.

Here is the photo:

Well?
LurkNoMore
I've been trying to work on it. I can't match anything in Sanskrit, I've got one or two characters from Hindi (well, one possible), only another 20 Indian languages to go wink.gif

I can say it's not Urdu, or Gujarati, they use a different alphabet. It might be Sanskrit, Hindi, Pujabi, Bengali, probably some others...

(I admit I don't know much about the languages, I used to know some Indian teachers who'd be able to help but not any more.)

I'll let you know.

(Thank God its a very small word is all I can say smile.gif)

The page in the file looks like an expenses form or something like that? It might say "accounts" LOL

Yeah, it might. And then I'd be ****** off. wink.gif
Seriously, it might be just that simple. Because those really look like expenses...hahahar!

OddEye:
Spoilers? But this is not a spoiler. It's taken from the episode. Unless that's not what you are saying.

I think he just means it might get more exposure in the spoilers section as well.

You hit it right on the head Lurk...I've just seen alot of things like this posted in the Spoiler section...that is where i ask most of my questions because most of the answers are spoilers...

No, why should those be spoilers? Everything you can deduce from clues in the show, riddles and stuff, is not a spoiler. If people post that stuff in spoilers I might have missed a lot...but I can't go looking there, it's too dangerous. rolleyes.gif

spoilers = stuff you know about future episodes, no matter where you got it from

I have seen you use spoilers, yes...
But it was in theories and they allow to do that here. Although you could use a warning to be nice. It wasn't that bad, though. smile.gif

I would almost think that LurkNoMore was right, but the file has a yellow stripe. Not that Chandra couldn't use them anyway...but let's hope it's something interesting. wink.gif

Thanks for the translation of the shirt! Heh.

Oh no, that isn't mine...credit goes to Heroes-TV, like it says. wink.gif

But I have a similar one I could have put up. It came out a little clearer so that you can read the "...sentience" (I believe that to read Hypersentience, btw) on that blue folder a bit better. But not worth the effort to put it up here as well.

Damn Abraxas is now the best Santana album and the hardest working Heroes fan on the net lol.

Keep up the good work. biggrin.gif

yup.. it is...
I think it is really funny that writers have shown all the documents to be in "Hindi"... Actually very few people in southern India (thats where chandra is from) can speak, read or write hindi.. dry.gif
Zero Patient
Seems like he (The doctor) had tabs on the powers, maybe not on the people. I think Maybe he's got knowledge on how to activate these powers.

As for the writing, maybe there's a whole heroes language.
Shizniddle Snap
Doubt it sorry.

It's not inconceivable that Chandra has some sort of personal code for research notes etc, but it seems unlikely. Most files are written in English and I would have expected Mohinder to mention the fact that he can't read some things because it is in code...
Briar
clearly someone has a unique foot, from "the little brown book"

which i henceforth dub to myself as the LBB. has that been coined? if not, i so call E-copyright!

well... ya.

i'm no linguist, but it looks like someone mashed together a few Kanji and played it off as Indian. But none the less, its a very pretty way of writtng gibberish.

x_x

humor edit:

clearly chandra was keeping track of all of his subject's tax returns! A-HA. the conspiracy deepens!

Couldn't it be the name of a power? I mean, if my father reads somewhere "Pyrokinesis" he'll say that's just gibberish, maybe "chubtra" is such a word?

I'm still not convinced that file-name is written in devanagri script; if it is, it's a little unusual font-wise. *shrug* It's certainly not Tamil, or Sinhala, or Gurmukhi.

I picked it up somewhere on this board and assumed everything will be in Sanskrit. It might as well be hieroglyphs for me. wink.gif
What if it IS hieroglyphs?
Reminds me of something.
