We have heard Audry say he's stealing brains..and i think issacs was missing in episode 2..

but in a few of the pics HRG showed to eden in the last episode..including Charlie...the girld hiro went back to save..if you freeze it on thos pics about 1/2 of them still have a brain in that cut open head...

but we know it was sylar that killed charlie..so why does she still have her brain in the crime sceen photo?

Only thing we've been told is that for a metahuman's special ability to work, their brain must be intact. Even Claire, who can literally cheat death, coud not regenerate until the tree was removed from the back of her head.

Beyond that, who knows. I'm fairly certain that Sylar isn't eating them, and he obviously hasn't aquired the abilities of any of the folks he has already murdered. Maybe they'll explain a little more about this in next week's flashback episode.

Maybe...just maybe hes killing them all that way so he's sure they will die..maybe hes attacking that 1 part of the brain he knows causes powers..who knows like a previous poster said...but this is the key to sylar now that we know who he is...

Maybe Sylar, don't want the brain. Maybe he just want to kill all the heroes. Maybe like this nobody will stop his plan for the future...

Metahuman? Heh. Reminds me of that old TV series, Birds of Prey. That's what they called the "powers" or mutants..


I hope so! The idea of him actually "eating" brains squicks me out. So my theory (!) is that Sylar IS a "metahuman" himself but he's come to hate who he is and others like him so is on a crusade to kill them all --- and the only way to do make them "normal" (or in this case, dead) is to slice their brains. We shall see.

I think that the head slicing is a means to an end. To insure the supers die their brains need to be manipulated in some way (severed from the spinal cord maybe?) but not necessarily removed. Sylar eating the brains is just too out there, even for this show!

Brains are a nice dish in many countries...Sylar may be from another land.

I thought he was power absorbing, but now I think maybe DNA collecting. Maybe some powers he wants and some no. Building a MEGAMAn or something.
