I don't think Peter's name was on Papa Suresh, or Sylar or HRG's list. Sylar goes according to his list and kills off all other heroes. But now that he knows about Peter, will Peter be his next target assuming that he will escape from HRG & Co.

What about Claire? Sylar failed (persumably his first time) to kill Claire. Will he go after Claire again, or he's going after the bigger target, Peter?

He'll probably try to turn Sylar into another crony who carries out HRGs directives (a la MGB and Claire). It's not inconceivable that this might fail on Sylar, or that Sylar may cause difficulties for HRG and revert to his former sociopathic ways.

But I'm not sure he would target Peter. I mean, does he have any clue who Peter even is? Unless Sylar happened into him again, how would he even start tracking him down?

Um, Sylar can still escape! He was sort of injured, and sub-conscience after the fall. After he has time to rest, who knows...he definately has the power to escape.

Also, Ted was captured by HRG and Co. before. He IS still dangerous. HRG and Co did not wipe him out.

Thik, I'm kidding around with the Nathan thing. Obviously the circumstances are different. But the question in my mind is whether or not he's "taking" Sylar for strictly personal reasons, or for professional reasons. I think that uncertainty means that his plans for Sylar may not go smoothly.

It's just a possibility, that's all I'm advocating.

True.. He could try and use Sylar but he said that they had been looking for him for a while but nobody could find him. That leads me to believe he knows just how dangerous he is and will be extra careful with him.

and I guess for my thoughts on the subject to be accurate, you would have to believe that HRG really cares about Claire as much as he said he did to Issac. If not.. the story could be different..

Sylar was ambushed by three supers the first time he went after Claire, and he came close to dying when one hurled him off the roof, and a second one can make him compliant with a word. If he does escape, I imagine he'll won't make a second attempt on Claire, he'll want to get as far away from Odessa as possible.

I have a feeling they are gonna try to pry as much out of Sylar as possible them do away with him.

Of course that would be an insane thing to do given the powers Sylar appears to posses.

Sometimes there are things that HRG can not control. Of course, he will not let Sylar escape. But what makes you think Sylar can not escape? Nathan did. And I'm pretty sure Sylar has more power than Nathan.

Best I can tell Peter's power is Passive...maybe he could copy Sylar's power though!

He instinctively deflected the lockers Sylar was hurling at him. Watch that scene in animated .gif format and you'll see.

I don't think he's going to go after Peter, at least not as a main target because once he finds out Peter has the power to absorb other's powers, he will become Sylar's biggest threat. But I don't think Sylar will hunt down Peter unless he knows for certain he has a power.

You are completely underestimating HRG. He has been in this business for at least 14 years by his own admission. Headmits that he knows about Sylar and has been after him for some time. They just "never knew where he was". So I am pretty sure they are prepared for him and his powers. I highly doubt they will let him walk freely through a parking garage once he wakes up.

More likely HRG will have him mind wiped or worse and maybe, MAYBE, then set him free or attempt to use him for his own agenda.

Whatever they do I do not believe that he will be in any shape to go after Peter or anyone else unless directed by HRG.

there's no indication that Sylar realized Peter was a super. otherwise he could have limped away with Peter's brain while Peter was all broken and twisty

(before you flame, yes, i think it's a reasonable presumption that Sylar figured it out ("hey, why didn't those lockers kill that dude with the bangs? my aim is usually much better than that!") but we don't know for sure. yet)

I think that after falling off the roof, Sylar was having, what is termed in the biz as A Very Bad Day. He didn't seem inclined to stick around and find out if Peter's brain was still edible.

I disagree, while he has obviously lost his "Ultimate Villain" edge (being so easily defeated by Eden), he can still cut heads open and take brains, use TK (possibly freeze people, and use super speed). That all (esp. the brain removing) seems to have some kind of importance to the plot. If he gets even a slight advantage over HRG and gang he will escape with ease.

True that Sylar did not know Peter had power at that time. But I believe the reason he did not get Peter's brain because he thought Peter's dead.

But now that Peter's arrested, and the news must be floating in the media. Sylar will sure one day find out that Peter's still alive. How can one be alive with such a fall with so much blood floating, unless of course, Peter has special power.

I am sure we will start seeing totally different Sylar, Maybe he wont be as mysterious or scary as he seemed.

One thing about Sylar that people don't seem to understand. he's a serial killer more than super villian. HRG has Sylar now and I know the Haitian will "hollow him out" like he did Brody. But Sylar is a sociopath.. I don't know if you can wipe that out. it's a mental illness that I don't think can be treated by removing memories.

I think Sylar is out of the killing business. I can see HRG rehibilitating him but I wonder if Sylar won't just have another breakdown sometime in the future and start it all up again. Maybe this part of the storyline is just another statement from the bleeding hearts that serial killers are people too.
