There's a scene involving Eden, Matt, and doughnuts in the upcoming episode (if you've seen the episode previews).

Ooh, interesting, I didn't notice that in the preview.
I want doughnuts now, and I haven't even seen the episode!

First: I'm glad you spelt doughnuts with 'ough' and not just as 'donuts'. I hate that!
Second: I like any doughnut that is filled with cream. My favourite, however, is a double chocolate doughnut from Tim Horton's (a coffee chain in parts of Canada).

Talk about episode #10 of Heroes here! Please keep discussion to ONLY this episode and no spoilers beyond it. And be perplexed and wonder why this episode makes you crave doughnuts. (Aired 11/27/06)

<ahem> Since you brought up spelling, I find it interesting that you used the word, 'spelt'. I think you meant to use the word 'spelled'.
The word you used, 'spelt', is actually a grain and not the past tense of 'spell'.

I didn't expect this thread to be monitored by the spelling and beer police!
(As Canadians, yes, our written English is still very British).

Apart from beer and Canadians I'm guessing that this episode is probably about Matt the cop.
(And for those not from the U.S. [including Canadians] who don't understand there is a long standing joke concerning policemen and doughnuts in the U.S. For instance, the first place you run when you need a cop? Dunkin' Donuts!)
(And for thos Eddie Izzard fans in the U.K. and elswhere...
"ich bin ein berliner" I am a doughnut!) LOL

I thought Kennedy said that. If he had just not said the "ein" part it would have been what he meant to say.

Actually, no:'spelt' is the past tense of 'spell' in the UK and Commonwealth countries. In Canada, however, 'spelled' is just as common. I just prefer 'spelt'.
But, back to the story:
I liked the 'd
oughnuts' bit. I would like to go in to a doughnut shoppe and order some with that 'evil' voice; however, I don't think they would get it.

Must defend Canadian beer, and trash Labatts. Good Canadian beer exists, as I'm sure there's good American beer, but the heavily comercialised beer is most frequently the worst. Try out microbreweries, support local industry.

You'd have to have seen Eddie Izzard in concert (or on DVD) to appreciate the joke. Yes, Kennedy said it but Izzard parodied it and it is quite funny!
