Tonight (Nov. 27) at 9PM on Heroes, we take a look at where the show's characters were six months ago.

Here in the real world, six months ago is when NBC announced Heroes as part of its Fall 2006 schedule. All of us fans were scattered across the globe with no idea of what was coming, unless we'd seen the image galleries on NBC.com or Superhero Hype.

And where will things be six months from now - for the fans and for the show? Will we know exactly who Sylar is by that time? Will all of our favorite characters make it there and some place? And when will Hiro fight Uluru?

Guess we'll find out. But tonight, I'm looking forward to taking a trip to Heroes' past... because who knows, it might give us some hints about what's to come in the future.

It's hinted at in this week's TV Guide, actually. They show comic book art of Hiro drawing his sword and state that he's about to fight "a really huge -- no, we won't give that away." I knew it had to be Uluru. I had a feeling when it was his screensaver on his computer in the first episode that the real thing was surely coming into the story eventually.

I was just thinking, but what if there's another hero that can bring things to life? Like if he/she saw the painting of Uluru and then it made it real? possibilities!

I feel gypped!

I thought we were supposed to find out how the Heroes all got their powers... or at least where they came from!

Why do I believe any of the teasers, EVER?!?

I thought there were several things that came up based on the Six Months Ago episode. Hiro has limits to his power. Sylar is a brat out to prove that Daddy's wrong. This could lead him to make all kinds of mistakes. Especially if this trait is exploited in a fight. Questions about Sylar's power still have to be answered.
Nathan's reluctance to acknowledge and accept his flying has been explained. Will Nathan maintains this stance, or will he join up with Peter?
HRG wants to keep Claire safe. Will he be able to do that? Will Claire link up with Peter and join the other "Heroes"?
Eden is working with HRG now. Will that last? Is she that loyal to HRG and his goals?
More about the mysterious Haitian Guy. Why is he identified as Haitian? He hasn't spoken, that I can remember, revealing an accent. I didn't see him with a flag, or something. Will we find out more about him in the next six months?
And Uluru, what's with that. - Him? Her? It? Is that what threatens the world? Where does it come from? And why is the general consensus that Hiro will be the one to fight him? Wouldn't the whole team get together for that fight?
Let's see.

Last night was a great episode . . . I'm really loving the pace of this show! It's giving us a little information at a time, but still moving along enough that when the hour is up, you feel like it's only been a few minutes. I can't wait to see the next episode. I hope they don't kill off D.L.

When Ted and Matt was speaking, Ted indicated he was at some event before he knocked out and there was a student there from Haiti.

That was obvious! But it doesn't explain why the powers were suddenly "activated" 6 months ago.

Yeah. No more teasers for me.

I'm starting to understand Sylar's motivations now, as a serial killer. He grew up with boring, average parents and lived a boring, average life, completely unremarkable in every way. He yearns to be special and unique, and senses that destiny has a higher purpose in mind for him -- but he has no idea what that is. It isn't until Chandra Suresh comes into his life that he learns the truth about the potential power that remains untapped, deep inside him. But he also learns that he's not as special or unique as he'd like, and sets out to destroy the other 'heroes', in the hope that, once they are all dead and he has absorbed their powers (by eating their brains?), he will truly be unique, special and extraordinarily powerful beyond his imaginings.

Just thinking out loud. smile.gif

Western Demon
First of all. Homage to Watchmen, by Sylar (Dr.Manhattan if he didn't take the chance to become nuclear scientist?).

Secondly, I believe that the episode's story (and subsequently some of the pieces of the chronology of the heroes) was remade, since they put Mr.Bennet as a regular (I hope Eden would be too, and she is not the one getting shot at in the next episode). Therefore, things are altered. Blacking out is not explained (or it would be explained in further episodes) and the scars as well. As noted, it only shows what the heroes were doing around the time they had their powers, some manifested (like Nathan, Matt and Claire) or beginning to comprehend themselves empowered (like Nikki, Charlie,Eden or Sylar).

Sylar could posses a copying ability. Much more like Peter's ability, only the effects occur by observation or how the human mind works, "ticks" more appropriate. Why he decides to cut down brains like that is still unknown (and I get icky by thinking of brains so I won't get anymore going on with this).

My guess for the activation. Similar to the "Upcoming Race" novel, the Clarke novel "Childhood's end" or the prophecies of the indigo children or some other semi-irrelevant legends of Greek origin (truly, there is something similar called the April Children) and something that begins on the starting credits of Heroes (when title appears) it is all from a planetary convergence. Cosmic energy flows to people influenced on a certain cosmic date keying them to the evolutionary stages that normal humans can't.

I'm dissapointed that we did not see Hiro's other failed attempts to save Charlie.
TwilightPro101
I think what we saw was enough. I mean it really gave us enough emotional stability to get the point across.
Jcm100x2
I'm disappointed as well that Hiro didn't save Charlie :*( I guess is just wasn't meant to be.
