In the preview of episode 11, it showed the city explosion. Was I just seeing things, or did there appear to be an Uluru-like image coming up in the smoke? If anyone has a screenshot I would love to see it again.
Maybe just wishful thinking on my part. biggrin.gif

i agree it does look like uluru
9th_wonder_hero9106
your totally right. but i don't think that he will be showing up in the 12the episode though, i think the writers are just messing with us.

You know, the next episode will be the last one before they take their break for Christmas (apparently). I forget whether it was the writers or some other source, but they said that the last episode before the break will end with a cliffhanger and a big one at that.

It's quite possible that Uluru will make an appearance right before the end of the episode leaving us fans in the dust screamng for more. That would definitely constitute being a huge cliffhanger.

The guy in the Uluru painting kind of looks like he's wearing what Peter is wearing in the episode 11 preview. Once again, maybe just wishful thinking on my part. biggrin.gif

1) I don't see it. Not saying it's not there, just saying all I see is a mushroom cloud.
2) I pray that this whole Uluru thing is just bait for those of us who have too much time and spout off about Heroes on the internet. It seems out of the show's tone and scope, and I'd hate for the show to jump the shark so early.

i cant see it sad.gif

I don't see absolutely anything that resembles that thing called 'Uluru" that everyone is ranting about. Not even close, not even if I squint my eyes...
Those 5 minutes staring at that picture I will never get back...

I'm gonna go cry

Micha has a Ninth Wonders comic with a monster on the front that could very well represent Jessica. We all know Jessica looks human. Uluru could just be another representation of someone or something.

I'm pretty sure that the figure in the Uluru painting is from the graphic novel, "Isaac's First Time", but you never know.

geez, i must be out of the loop on Uluru. Has the monsters name been mentioned on any of the shows? Or just the graphic novels? I need to pay attention more. cool.gif

I think that the Uluru painting was done before Isaac used his powers and is just a normal painting. This is because it was in the comic Isaac's first time, and it was not the painting that was of the future. If it was about the future that would mean the one with the girl getting hit by the bus would be his second painting that told the future.

I've actually wondered if there isn't a new Hero that will be from Uluru, AU that'll show up soon. Maybe this guy/gal will be evil? (I remember an article a few years ago about some ancient art that scientists were trying to save, I'll google and see if I can't find it.)

Edit:
interesting read even if it's not related to Heros. smile.gif

D.L. mentions him when talking with Micah about comics. It's about halfway through episode 6.

They would actually be from Alice Springs or Katherine, Uluru isn't actually a place, it's just the rock (although that being said, he could be an aboriginal from a tribe that lives around Uluru).

In the context of the show, and "Isaacs First Time", however, i think Uluru is a mentalmanifestation of drugs, being the inescable monster to him. The way i read the comic, the "first time" was also the first time he shot up, so the monster/hallucination was scariest and vividest then, of course, if it was the fist time he shot up, it could also be argued it was the first time he painted the future, the future showing him unable to escape Uluru's grasp. And yes, i knowit's widely held that it's Hiro cowering in front of it, but maybe isaacs painting to futures together, or signifying how his drug abuse destroys those he knows as well...who knows..

I'm with the people who don't want Uluru to become a reality in this show though, it would take a level of realism away from it.

Who the hell is the ULURU going to kill?
Hordak Alpha
Heroes isn't going to have any otherworldly monsters on at all, sad to say. I know scifi and fantasy fans would have no trouble at all seeing a big monster like Uluru show up but all of the people too planted in reality would Lady, whine, complain, titter, gufaw and help the show get canceled.

Surface had a big monster in it and look how quickly that show disappeared as is the same with Threshold. Primetime watchers just can't tolerate otherworldly creatures on prime time SF shows like Heroes yet X-Files watchers did just fine with all of the monsters that showed up.
STORMSHADOW
what if ulurru isnt a monster but someone who controls earth or rock, and creates a giant rock armor that would still stay in the realm of possibility and the show would have a truly daunting figure of destruction for the heroes to face in the future

Called it here first..!

What is coming through the smoke is NOT ULURU...

It's the Boogeyman from Nightmare Before Christmas!

What? No Godzilla?!?

That would be too funny if "Uluru" does show up and Hiro had a "Gojirra!" reaction to it.
