Yeah, if you go into the spoilers section there is a preview for next week in one of the threads. In the preview there is a clip of HRG talking with Sylar, and Sylar says what his original power is. And it does have something to do with detecting abnormalities. I won't say anything further, I'll leave it up to you to check it out.

Just a thought. Could be significant.

Personally I think they have very different powers. I think Micah is a technopath (for lack of a better word). I think he can manipulate electronics, destroy them, fix them, etc.

Sylar on the other hand has only showed aptitude for fixing watches -- a decidedly non-electronic trade the way it was presented in the show.

Micah has shown no aptitude for being able to sense broken things. On the contrary, he seems to desire to open up and study non-broken things.

We've clearly seen Sylar's face. He looks nothing like Micah. Now, unless Micah has another power that lets him change into a grown-up nerdy looking guy, Micah can't be Sylar.

Precisely. Even if their powers aren't exactly the same, there's a paralelism between them, as the two "fixer" characters. I'd be surprised if the authors didn't play off that, especially with the contrast between the most sinester character and this open-hearted kid.

(Also, I'm not convinced that Micah's ONLY a technopath... He keeps talking about how his mom "needs" him to DL... I mean, he's a kid, and kids say things like that, but at the same time, it might not be a coincidence that Jessica took over full-time when Micah was absent-- maybe he was "fixing" Nikki with his presence.)
