I listened closely multiple times because that line seemed to go somewhere and yet I couldn't understand what the cop says, something like, "It's him! It's the guy from New York who put...", that's all I get.

I figure if it was important someone would have mentioned it, but maybe I missed it, anyway. I can't understand what that guy says and how they know Peter or if they are confusing him with Sylar.

*Peter corrects his leg right as the police pull up sirens blazing*

Offscreen: "That's the guy, he's the one in the overcoat that the janitor saw"

Cop: "Put your hands up!"

Peter: "What the hell?"


Gosh even on my computer this was hard to hear, but I got it after replaying the scene four times, and that is what is said. Nothing about NY or sylar. Everyone who loves Heroes should buy the episodes off iTunes like me! I can watch them over and over again!

I've got the episode on PVR and can turn on the closed captioning. I doubt there's much more than was posted above, but I'll post my findings shortly.

Peter does not say "What the hell?" That's coming from offscreen.

Offscreen: "That's the guy, he's the one in the overcoat that the janitor saw"

Cop: "Put your hands on your head!"

Offscreen: "What the hell? Look at all that blood."

Peter: "It's not what you think, guys!"

Cop: "All right, hands up!"

Peter: "What are you do-- it's not me! He's getting away!"

Cop: "Let's go! Stand up!"
