Full Version: sylar+peter=same power?

NINJA PIFF
i was thinking about it, and since sylar can absorb other people's powers(manually) and peter can absorb powers aswell(automatically) i thought that maybe they have some type of relationship or something..just a guess
Last Man of Krypton
I see it more as, Sylar steals people's powers, Peter just copies them temporarily. And with this new dawn of hundreds, maybe thousands of people with special abilities populating the planet, it's likely that certain powers will show up in more than one person.

Sylar has the ability to understand how things work and figured out a way, by studying the brains of people with powers, to alter his DNA to match the powers of those with the powers he is studying.

Peter can absorb the powers of others as long as he is close.

Both have plusses and minuses...but Sylar never had "the power of stealing powers" it's just how he used the powers he was given.

Of course, how Sylar figured out how to add foreign super human DNA to his brain from other brains is still a mystery.

Yeah because they have fully explained how Nathan flies.

And how Claire regenerates.

And how Hiro is so Japanese.

stole the words from my fingertips...

Because it is an hour show they can not give all information to us so most is implied...
i'm sure when it becomes a real bother to most of the viewing public they will explain...

Sylar's power is like Micah's -- ability to remotely diagnose and repair/upgrade complex electromechanical systems

like watches, or computers. or brains

[sorry for the split infinitive. what? you didn't notice? cool! =) okay never mind]

There are similar powers, not the same.
Micah, it seems, doesn`t detect the broken state, is confuse with the laptop, but i think he could probably just like to study machines (he is a little genius, too).
Bicouse Micah repaired the phone "magicaly", and Sylar used the tools to fix the watch.
Anyway, i don't like when the powers are too similar.
Sylar's are like Micah and Peter togheter and improoved.
