Who says eden's dead? It didn't show her shoot herself. Even though people think Hiro goes to a museum and gets the sword, I think that due to his blog, his powers backfire and end up "lunch for a dinosaur" as mentioned in Chapter 10. Ted is out, looking for awnsers and runs into Peter. Peter gets the power. Whos says that? It would explain things, due to his contact with Issac, and he sees the future. Hiro, he goes into the future. Ted, due to the explosion of energy. but not Nathan. Nathan may just end up being the one bad person thought to be good. Go on to NBC.com, and click on the Vote for Petrelli sign. Look at the expression of Nathan on that page, and in the episode when he comes out the door. Looking dark... how did peter have a visit with nathan, when he turned into sylar? I think Sylar is dead, but not his soul. Mohinders voiceover once said the hero's soul can die and takeover another body (Jessica/Nikki explination) Sylar will takeover Nathan, use the telekenesis to make Peter explode with energy. Give me the imput on this.
What Up Hiro!
Ah I stopped reading after a while, but I really like the fact that you aren't just assume things and are going out of the box because I do the same thing too! We are awesome!

P.S. Later when I actually sit down and read it all I'm going to be thinking "And I said I was like him?!?" Haha, just kidding biggrin.gif

Whats with the shot of Sylar on the cell floor with his eyes open, looking either dead or unconscious in the 'photo preview'?
Did he get tagged?
Jerry
The Nathan/Sylar experience that Peter had was a DREAM sequence. Much like the one at the end of the show.

Eden is DEAD. The graphic novel confirmed as much.

Peter now knows he is the cause of the explosion in NYC, now he needs to figure out how to stop it from happening.

Peter needs to gain better control of his powers in order to be able to know when he is channeling another one. he needs to get a handle on them so that he has some semblance of order and control when an unfamiliar one is copied.

This is what The Doctor will teach him in future episodes biggrin.gif

This weeks graphic novel says so.

I'd be surprised if the show started dealing with souls and possessions, etc. Thus far they've kept the basis pretty grounded in a certain level of reality (it's a sci-fi reality, but it's also not entirely off the chart). I think getting into metaphysical questions like the soul would be a pretty sharp left turn.

But I think you're 100% right about Nathan.
Sylar33
ok, I admit that eden's dead, but Sylar might die, due to eden's power coming to effect when Sylar comes back into concious, and then posesses Nathan

I find this scenario highly unlikely. blink.gif

If her persuation can still take effect even after she's dead, which I doubt. it would still require that he have a gun to shoot himself with.

Oh and I don't think one of Sylar's powers is to possess someone after he's dead. wink.gif

Eden is dead! read the comic on week 11...

Peter is jus seeing things from Sylar's point of view! Nathan does actually go dark but is not involved in the explotion anyway..

actually, Niki has the power to house one's soul in a reflection, which is what she did with her sister Jessica when she died from child abuse so many years ago. Jessica on the other hand has immense super strength.

Look at the topic "Mohinder's voiceover" it should explain.

Ok, that sounds really cool. Source? Or theory?

what im saying about the repossessing of the soul is right here:
"The hero's soul is capable of independent existence in the real world. The Free Spirit can leave the hero's body and travel independently; it is often mistaken for an Astral Body. The Free Spirit can even survive the death of the physical body without being immediately drawn into an afterlife dimension. Free Spirits possess all the Mental Abilities, Talents, and Powers of the whole being. Health remains unchanged although now it is more of a measure of how well the Free Spirit can resist entering the appropriate afterlife. If the Free Spirit is still in his original body, that body may either retain a share of the overall consciousness when the spirit is away or the body may lapse into a coma at these times. There an equal chance of either, although the player should choose one at the time the hero is created. If the original body is dead, the Free Spirit can develop bonds to one or more new bodies, dwelling like a tenant in each but tied to none. The Free Spirit cannot Possess the body or in any way hinder the real owner's abilities. They do share a telepathic bond that extends into shared dreams. If the Free Spirit possesses Powers that require a physical form to use, he can lend these to whatever body he is occupying."
Does that explain things?

That's bogus. It was never said on the show. If you refer to the same thread I think you do, I said the same thing there. You don't have to believe me, of course. By the way, it was not the OP's fault as he picked it up from somewhere and believed it to be true.
It doesn't even sound like something Mohinder would say, but that may just be me.

If it's from a future episode, that's unfortunate, although I doubt it will be.
