So soon after the announcements of exclusive online Heroes comic material to come using some of comics' best talents, I swung by the local comic book shop to get this week's stash.
There's some great stuff currently out there in comic-land. 52. Civil War. Detective Comics by Paul Dini. Ultimate Spider-Man. Anything written by Geoff Johns or Dan Slott. But what made this week's trip to the comic book store so much fun was that almost every Marvel and DC book - including the usually ad-free Punisher MAX - had a nifty 2-page spread advertising Heroes.
It's the same as a lot of the artwork you've seen out there before, with photos of the cast and a good use of color and design. But, it makes me happy. It reminds me that there are less than three weeks until Heroes premieres on NBC. And, even better, less than four weeks until new episodes begin that some of us hadn't already seen at Comic-Con or on iTunes.
Stay tuned. I think more good news is coming.
