When Claire and HRG were discussing the Homecoming attacks, he tells her something along the lines of "That man who came after you? There are more like him out there... "

Does this mean that Bennett knows of the existence of more people with Sylar`s power leeching abilities? or was he just trying to scare Claire into keeping her mouth shut?

He knows about the list; though he probably doesn't know all their abilities and would rather be safe than sorry, I'm guessing.

I think that HRG works for one of these people that wants the Heroes abilities, though maybe not through the same as Sylar. This is why he wants to keep Claire off the radar, cuz he knows she'd be a prime target with her indestructible ability.

I think he meant that there are more people out there who want the abilities that our "Heroes" have. There are probably not any "other Sylar's" out there, as they would have to be as informed about the "heroes" and their abilities as he is and without Chandra Suresh and his information that's not really possible. And yes, obviously, Mohinder has all of Chandra's information but does not yet know its importance nor how to use it effectively.

He just meant that, once the world at large finds out about mutants, there will be more individuals or groups that will come after them or target them. Bennet wasnt talking about a specific person, he was just saying that the world at large is a dangerous place and Sylar wasnt going to be the last threat to Claire, thats all.

Or just that there are more "metahumans" in the world.

That one line that HRG spoke to Claire could be the source of many future plot points, perhaps even full seasons.

if every plotline in this show is about saving Claire, the show would get old VERY fast!

I'm sure the poster meant metahumans in general, not just Claire.

I think there might have been "another Sylar" -- aka the original Sylar, a very powerful "metahuman" or whatever you want to call it that Gabriel consumed. Now, perhaps, his personality or talents are powerful enough that Gabriel even took his name. Is this possible?

What I'm kind of afraid of is if HRG sees Peter as a threat because he can leach powers (albeit in a totally different way from Sylar). HRG might kill/mind wipe him.

Sylar got his name off a watch...and the person he took the orginal powers from had telekinesis.

I think he simply meant "more people who will want to kill you because of what you are."

That said, there could certainly be others out there who are "activating evolution" like Sylar and using DNA derived from "evolutionary heroes" to make themselves "activated heroes."

It's not a power, it's something Sylar is doing to his own DNA through genetic alteration.

Anybody privvy to the same knowledge could do the same.
