I don't think it's peter because the person in the picture looks too menacing, like he wants revenge. In the dream/vision Peter looks like he is in pain.

well peter was glowing like that and
peters eyes did look pretty menacing tho

i think that it being Peter is just too obveus. this show is all about the unexpected. but thats just my thoughts on that.

99% sure its not Peter...in his dream he's wearing a dark blue/black trench coat and a Sylar watch...Peter never has worn a dark trench coat so number one:this leads me to believe that Peter is signifying somebody else and two:why would he have a Sylar watch on? This information leads me to believe that Peter is signifying Sylar -his opposite...I say his opposite because Sylar takes on abilities but for evil, Peter uses other powers, possibly able to retain them in the future, but uses the powers from those around him for good also I think he is signifying Sylar because he has worn such a trench coat before he was captured


edit:just relooked the picture...whoever this is a painting of is wearing a trench coat (look underneath the eyes) you can see the collar of whoevers trench coat

I totally disagree! If you see a trench coat in that picture than your super power is x-ray vision. And Peter's watch is a Nixon not a Sylar.

Peter does find out that he is the bomb that is going to blow up NYC.

it is not peter. for those of us in the know about your friendly spider. Peter Parker is taken over by the symbiot (sp?) and his cool out fit goes from red/blue to all black.
maybe over time something takes hold of peter, and in this "vision" we see him releasing this evil out into the NYC skyline.

I'm not sure i'd buy into that being Peter, but I wouldn't be surprised if he becomes some uber powered guy once he gets control of his talent. He is my favorite, has been since the beginning of the show. I'm really hoping he doesn't bite it to stop the bomb.

I dont think its peter. My main reason is because in the dream or whatever it was, peters hands are closed but in the picture they are open. It could just be a continuity error though

It also could be Ted. and if it is a woman, I think it would be Simone. She has been to boring, someething has to happen to her, I thing she might be EVIL! LOL

Obviously the painting is of the human torch becoming an evil dictator and is giving his speech!

I'm not going to assume anything, but my best guess would be that it's NOT peter. It might not even be a premonition of someone exploding at all! Maybe it's a metaphor of Peter's powers! The fact that all the heroes we've seen so far came into the "circle of cars" and then left could signify that Peter had absorbed their powers, and became overwhelmed with them. You never know.

But seriously. The human torch is very conniving. Don't trust him!

ok I don't know id this is going to happen but

maybe what's going to happen is:

in one of the episodes there's this person that can blow stuff up. Then Matt was in the hospital with him he said something like "if you shoot me I don;t know what would happen. I could blow up. I could take out the whole city"

well after I saw that and saw the last episode I 1st thought it was Peter and I was like "Nooooo! Peter is soooooooooo cool and cute and he CAN'T die" but then I thought of that one episode and thought maybe it was that guy that can blow up stuff.

I mean we never really found out what happened to him (well not to my knowleage). He could be in New York and something happened and BOOM!

and the thing with Peter. Well Peter has deams of other people using their powers. like with his brother Nathan. when he got in a car crash Peter had a dream about it from Nathan's Point of View. Maybe Peter saw that something with this guy.

I don;t know if it will happen or if someone else say this already but it may happen. when it wasn't really from the person's Point of View b/c it showed us Peter. and I just started watching the episode on line now after seeing the last 4 episodes on T.V so I may have missed something but it's a "What if"

I had a thought this afternoon about the painting in question...

1. person looks female.
2. We know Claire's bio-mom is comming sometime soon to the show.
3. I think it is asumed she has some type of fire or pyro ability.

Congecture from above 3 points.

Claire will find out who her bio-mom is and call her.
Claire will want to help Peter but can't go to NY because she is not suposed to remember him.
Claire will ask her bio-mom to she what she can do to help Peter.
Bio-mom will go to NY

any thought on this conjecture?
