Just rewatched Peter's vision and realized Isaac was there; he's the one dragging Simone off the street. A few thoughts.
1. Claire and Simone both are responding to Peter as though is is Peter, causing some problems to my "Peter is empathing Ted" theory.
2. Earlier in the season, when Hiro visits the future, Isaac is dead with his head sawed off. Then the bomb explodes. Yet, in this vision, Isaac is alive. So what does this mean?
2a. It means HIro had traveled to a possible future, not the actual future. Hiro's power shows the future is not predetermined, because when he traveled into the future, he is arrested and has the police call Ando. Ando says Hiro has been missing for five weeks. But since Hiro returns and reunites with Ando, and they then begin a journey together, it is not possible that Ando ever says those words in the main timeline. So, the future that Hiro saw is preventable and Isaac will not die.
2b. The explosion of Peter is not the city exploding. It is something else. This may be where Peter gets his scar.
Not sure what else. But Isaac's presence means the possible future Hiro visited was averted. Yet, are Isaac's paintings also painting possible futures? So far, they are exactly right. Which means the bomb will go off.

About Isaac being there... Well, we now know that the current chain of events leads to how Sylar obtains the gun Eden got from the bug exterminator guy.
This was the gun found near brainless Isaac's body in the possible future...
Things that make you go Hmmmm..
Did Sylar obtain that gun in a parallel way in the other future? Because we already know it's not the same because Ando hasn't miseed Hiro for 5 months.

The corpse Hiro found on Isaac's floor looked nothing like Isaac. The dead guy had facial hair like Ted's, full mustache, goatee, etc. Isaac has never had facial hair like that and is currently completely cleanshaven. Granted, it could have been a bad stand-in or poorly crafter dummy, but whatever it was it sure didn't look like Isaac.
My money's on it being the corpse of someone who had a power that could blow up a city though.

It looked real enough for Hiro to think it was him. Remember he told Isaac that in the future he saw him with his head cut off?

yeah but Hiro never met Isaac before he saw him "dead", he just assumed it was Isaac cause it was his apartment.

To be fair, we really don't know if Hiro or Peter's vision of "the future" is accurate. We haven't been shown that either of them is concrete and completely pre-destined to happen.

Yeah, about that: how did Sylar get the gun from Edie? If he had the ability to do that all along, why didn't he do it to Claire's father? (Is his power, like Peter's, only activated in the "presence" of other mutants?)
Also, if Sylar and Edie knew the gun would not harm him--as Sylar points out--well, why wouldn't it harm him? Sylar had to be "patched up" from his fall with Peter, and yet a bullet to the head won't effect him? Can Sylar be wounded or not?

A bullet wouldn't do anything, at least if someone else pulls the trigger because Sylar can use TK to stop it.

i don't think he could. it would still take unrealistic reflexes
and if he could stop bullets with TK alone, why didn't he stop Eden from shooting herself and ruining her brain?
... her lovely,
tasty brain ...

What about the episde when Sylar was shot multiple times, and nothing happened to him?

It was never Isaac dead in that apartment to begin with.
Hiro assumed (and you know what assuming does) that it was him but he'd never met him before so he was making a guess from that photo on the back of the comic.
I think that was Ted there looking for Peter or Nathan. Maybe Ted talks with Matt or learns about Peter from HRG? Or maybe he learns that Isaac can paint the future and HRG sends him to find Isaac?
It doesn't matter except that Ted ends up there and Sylar is there too and cuts off his head and becomes the exploding man.
I suppose Peter's vision is because Peter runs into Sylar and inadvertently mimics this power and explodes cause he can't control it in him?

Easy. He isn't telepathic and he didn't think she had the balls to kill herself.
He COULD have stopped her but his reflexes aren't that fast.
He was gloating too much.

it would not be right to let Peter become the exploding man..
do you know how many viewers they would lose if they killed of Peter in that fashion?

If you lisen to what Edan says it makes sence that it would work... she says
"I'm going to take this gun and i'm going to put it in that slot, and your gunna take it and your going to blow your brains out."
in order for it to work she would have to put it in the slot
