If anyone out there doesn't have to be at work at 8:30 a.m. EST this morning, I'd like to ask if someone can keep track of the Golden Globe nominations. It's certainly hopeful that Heroes makes it into the list for TV Drama. If that or any of the actors get nominated, PLEASE post it here!

I've been excitedly waiting for this too - esp. after all the other accolades Heroes has been receiving this week (
AFI, WGA, EW, etc.). Since I'm in Asia and it's night time, I'll see if I can post the news if I'm not out for dinner then. Otherwise, I'm sure our trusted Heroes fans will get to it in no time. Cheers!

I kind of wish some of the other actors got nominations, but I can't complain over two! *le woot* Congratulations Masi and the rest of the cast/crew on the nominations!

I'm kinda nervous though, in the drama category, they've got some really tough competition!

That's why I'd like to see the submission list. Did they submit Ali and Hayden for best actress or supporting actress consideration? Did they submit for Jack Coleman, Adrian, Milo...?
I thought Heroes big competition would be Dexter, and it didn't even get nominated,

Here's the entire list Movies and TV for anyone interested:
http://www.cnn.com/2006/SHOWBIZ/Movies/12/...list/index.htmlI am very happy about the best drama nomination. Though they are up against 24 and Grey's Anatomy - good company to be in. (FYI - Heroes and 24 will be going head-to-head in January, Mondays at 9pm). And of all the actors on the show, Masi is the one who stands out the most though I do think there is some other good acting on the show.
I.K.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure everyone got submitted. It's in the show's best interest to maximize their chances by submitting everyone. It is possible they only submitted Milo, Hayden, Greg, Ali, Masi, and Adrian though. There is a picture of a press conference with only 6 of them in it. Since Jack became a series regular only recently, so it's very possible he wasn't included.

stuff i learned
-they wear each others underwear
-milo makes health nut pancakes
-senhil looks better than most women (according to milo)
-Leonard is joining a band as a dancer with Noah
-They do product placement
-Adrian got a phone call and hung up
-Masi cant go to group meetings cuz he got a golden globe nomination
-Masi is humble
-Hayden was the first to eat cake, and have seconds, thirds, fourths, and fifths

Actually, I think it's the other way around. If you submit too many people, you will split the votes...thus, less chance getting nominated.

It didn't hurt Desperate Housewives chances of getting two Lead Actress nominations.
I'm pretty sure there's no way they wouldn't have submitted the main 6. It would be absurd that they would only submit one person. I really think it's more of a spagetthi approach. Throw them all onto the wall and see what sticks, but it's very possible they didn't submit all 12.

Milo is a lacto vegetarian since he was a kid, hence healthy food only.. Hayden is a one isn't she.. if shes not flirting, she's dropping celeb gossip and hanging out on red carpets with older guys..she loves the attention.
The guys reactions were hilarious, they were trying to support her for her sining, protect her from older predatory guys and finally trying to get her to change the subject or shut-up when she was being indiscreet..and she sure lurves cake! LOL!

Which is why her "mom" threw away all those cupcakes in that episode.

But really, it's cool seeing an young actress actually eat instead of starving herself into a stick.

Maybe they're presenting some kind of lifetime acheivement award that has a lot of speaking parts (do they even have lifetime acheivement awards at the Golden Globes)? Or maybe they'll be like grouped up into pairs to present a couple of different awards?
I actually like seeing more than one of cast members at public events, it makes it seem more like a group effort that way instead of just one person getting the credit. And yay for Ali making appearances again!

Aww crap...Heroes while in good company, are going to have a hard time beating 24 in that category. It's Jack Baurer's year as far as handing out awards go.

I agree with the Dr, the crap I've been hearing on TV and on the TV Guide channel... last year was 24's year.
But if it comes down to best new TV show Heroes deserves to win.

I'm watching "Live from the Red Carpet" on E! and they're interviewing Masi Oka; they basically brushed him off to talk to Vanessa Williams. They've shown a couple of different Heroes though.

They are interviewing Hayden now.

Seems there is some confusion going on, so to clarify:
The award for Best Performance by an Actor in a Supporting Role in a Series, Mini-Series or Motion Picture Made for Television went to (
bold):
Thomas Haden Church - Broken Trail (AMC)
Jeremy Irons - Elizabeth I (HBO)Justin Kirk - Weeds (SHOWTIME)
Masi Oka - Heroes (NBC)

Jeremy Piven - Entourage (HBO)
-------------------------------
The cast of Heroes presented the award for Best Performance by an Actor In A Television Series - Drama:
Patrick Dempsey - Grey's Anatomy (ABC)
Michael C. Hall - Dexter (SHOWTIME)
Hugh Laurie - House (FOX)Bill Paxton - Big Love (HBO)
Kiefer Sutherland - 24 (FOX)
For the record, I thought Hugh Laurie's acceptance speech was quite funny.
