The NAACP has nominated Heroes for Best TV Drama. The show is set to air March 2, 2007 at 8PM Eastern on FOX. Thought I would share. Everyone loves Heroes except SAG .

Isn't the NAACP the National Association fo the Advancement of Colored People? When did they have an award show?

"Colored" people?

I thought we stopped using that after the 70s.

1.) The NAACP has Image Awards every year, celebrating positive portrayals of minorities in the media.

2.) The NAACP was formed in 1909, when "colored" was the most PC term for non-whites. The name has been kept due to tradition. (Sort of like the United Negro College Fund.) Also because it is inclusive of all racial minorities.

And it is what it is!

Cool. This nomination kind of makes sense, seeing as about half of the main characters are minorities (and there are more to come). I think it's fabulous.

Half the cast are minorities...come to think of it, yeah. Huh, never noticed one way or another though.

Come to think of it, this show is more etnicly diverse than Star Trek TOS. I mean,look at the represented culture's/ethnicities

A very fiting award if Heroes gets it

omg! I want to say "in your face!" to that person who said that Niki and DL's relationship was disgusting.

And to all those people who complain "there isn't enough this in this show, there isn't enough that," blah blah blah, they're doing better than any other show! Duh! They just got nominated for an award!
