I'm glad he left Doctor Who because David Tennant is a phenomenal Doctor! But yeah, hope Chris stays around for a few episodes on Heroes.
I was quite reserved when David Tennant took over for Christopher Eccleston. When I started watching the show, I was a "Doctor Who" Virgin. I had never seen any of the original episodes, so Chris was the very first Doctor I was ever exposed to, and until he left at the end of season 1, I had no idea that the Doctor regenerated. So I was quite shocked to say the least.
Because of this I was bound and determined that I would
HATE the new Doctor, but when I was
finally able to see the second season (it was delayed a year here in Canada -- I'm assuming because it was picked up in the States and they didn't want season 2 airing here while season 1 was just starting there) I found that I really liked David Tennant in the role. But there will always be a special place in my heart for my
very first Doctor, Chris Eccleston!
When I first saw Claude last week I never noticed it was him (the beard threw me off) but when I was watching tonight I just sat there in shock for a second then I had to rewind the show to see if it was really him or not. I'm ecstatic he's on Heroes now and I desperately hope that he sticks around for
quite a while!
