I was wondering where that thread had gotten to. I had posted in that one and like 2 others.

Question is: How long is he going to stay on the show? Something tells me Eccleston, although a great actor, is very fickle and doesn't like to stay in one role too long for fear of being typecast. I can expect to see him for the seven episodes of the new story arc and then he will most likely go. I suppose he'll get killed off by Sylar which would really suck since a crybaby like Sylar has got nothing on a former Doctor.

Tim Kring has hinted that Claude is going to turn out to be more than just a mentor in the grand scheme of things so I'm personally hoping Christopher Eccleston can become abit of a recurring character if he turns out to be as great in this role as I think he's going to be.

Me too. Hell, I personally hope he stays on the show for the entire run. I enjoy his performances that much.

I'm glad he left Doctor Who because David Tennant is a phenomenal Doctor! But yeah, hope Chris stays around for a few episodes on Heroes.

I was quite reserved when David Tennant took over for Christopher Eccleston. When I started watching the show, I was a "Doctor Who" Virgin. I had never seen any of the original episodes, so Chris was the very first Doctor I was ever exposed to, and until he left at the end of season 1, I had no idea that the Doctor regenerated. So I was quite shocked to say the least.

Because of this I was bound and determined that I would HATE the new Doctor, but when I was finally able to see the second season (it was delayed a year here in Canada -- I'm assuming because it was picked up in the States and they didn't want season 2 airing here while season 1 was just starting there) I found that I really liked David Tennant in the role. But there will always be a special place in my heart for my very first Doctor, Chris Eccleston!

When I first saw Claude last week I never noticed it was him (the beard threw me off) but when I was watching tonight I just sat there in shock for a second then I had to rewind the show to see if it was really him or not. I'm ecstatic he's on Heroes now and I desperately hope that he sticks around for quite a while!

While I can't watch the end of Doctor Who "The Parting of the Ways" without weeping for the Ninth Doctor, I'm glad we had Chris for 13 episodes, at least. He was amazing. I've watched him over and over on Heroes both with what I recorded on VHS (I made a special Claude-scenes tape too) and also on the boxed DVD set. Chris is amazing as Claude and I sincerely hope he returns, SOON!
