first time poster, long time lurker...

Has anyone else called 1-800-PRIMA16? All operators are currently busy, but if you had the extention for HRG, you can probably get a cool message or something. Anyone have any ideas what it could be? I tried 474 (HRG) but it just shuts you down.

edit- Is my message suppose to be on top of the original post. This confuzzles me

I called. Did anyone try any of the extension options (like press 3 for personel, then ask for Mr. Bennett)?
What Up Hiro!
"3" gives you a code to apply for the job. Meaning access the game. I did it after school today.
Frunk
More importantly, did anyone try going to primatechpaper.com and look on the front page where it says "On the go? Visit us on your cellphone: text the word PAPER to 46622."?

If anyone else has tried the website application form, the code was MT16. You might try that to see if it might work.

Call the 800 number and choose 3 for personnel

The recording will give you a passcode to use on the website, it worked and took me to a signup page for my personal information to see if I'm 'compatible'. The recording (from option 3) asked for my cell number and sent a text message to me.

Good stuff, I adore internet tie-ins to my favorite shows =)

They'll be contacting me in a few weeks with the next steps. I love these types of games. For some reason, the videos on NBC.com won't work for me though. sad.gif

The code I recived was mt36.. I'm guessing it changes with each call or has a random sequence assigned.
Oayis
I contacted the text number. They give you a different URL (but it's still within the primatechpaper website).
Frunk
I went and sent the text message like it said to do, got a reply for primatechpaper.com/wap, went there on the PC because lord knows I'm gonna waste money on my phone for this, and it had a link to give them my name and mobile phone number. Did that, then I got this "Trying to crack into this thing. I’ll let you know how when I do. Give me about a week."

Calling the number get you a code to fill out an application on the primatechpaper website.

I recieved a txt message after filling out my information.

"Thank you for your interest in Primatech Paper and taking the time to complete our employee application. To recieve updates by text message, reply TEXT."

the follow up after replying with TEXT..

"Thank you. A Primatech Paper representative will be contacting you in a few weeks with the next steps."

"Thank you for completing our employee application. An HR representative will contact you shortly should your qualifications match our hiring needs at this time."

An HR representative... horn rimmed...

After completing the first part of the phone txt message...

"Would you like to hear more about Primatech Opportunities via test message? Reply YES now."

Second part...

"You'll be hearing from me again soon. We have a lot to do together."
Witchchylde
I think my application might not go through, I may have come across as too bleeding heart for their purposes. And my cell provider wasn't included in their list so I guess Virgin Mobile customers are stiffed on the test message side of the game. mad.gif
phoenixrise
Wow, sorry about that Witchchylde. I for one had difficulty answering "the party" question since I am more of a hang around with everybody type, haha.
mothern8re
I put the code in on my cell phone through the browser and it said "Trying to crack into this thing. I'll let you know how when I do. Give me about a week. What does that mean?
Godai
Ok, after experimentation.

You call the prima number recording starts.

It will ignore keypresses until it gets to the part "For sales, press 1."

At this point
1 takes you to sales message
2 takes you to shipping message
3 takes you to personnel dept with code for website.

If you press 4-0, it will restart the "for sales..." message

If you then press 1-3 it will still take you to the same messages.

However if you press 4-0 again it gives the message
"Thank you for calling Primatech. Paper, People, Performance. Since 1962."
Then it hangs up

This makes me believe that the access code is 2 digits long and only contains the digits 4-0.

This leaves only 49 possibilities.

I'm too lazy and no where near anal enough to start doing 44,45,46,47 etc.

So I'm gonna leave that to you guys.

Godai

P.S. This of course is following the assumption that an access code is active on the phone system.
colleen
hey guys - has anyone checked out the website on the card that HRG (is that right?) gave to Mohinder?
www.primatechpaper.com
i ran to check it out at the first commercial
there is a spot to enter an "invitation code" in the jobs section. any clue where we might find this code? might it pop up in some sort of game somewhere? i totally wanna check this out, see what it's all about!

oh my god! i cant wait til next week!
colleen
wow...and theres a whole freakin thread in general..oh well..

I got the page, but my Canadian cell phone does not work. Thanks for all the updatas.

Witchchylde, virgin mobile in my area is actually carried on the sprint network. Try putting that in and see if then you can get the codes to your phone. Just a thought...

It means that the puppet masters are not read to reveal this information yet and it will open up later. Let the guys behind the curtain tell the story you will know when it is time to get in on this. For now try to figure out

A: How to break into the phone extensions
B: How to find a working email that we can converse with the game.

Do we really need the access code if we already started the game by signing up for a job?

i guess it wouldn't be that easy.

Okay I've just done all the steps to fill out the app and have messages sent by phone. HMMM one has to wonder thoough what's the game. This is cooler than anything I've seen on how they are getting the audience involved with the show.

Newsworthy note: during the airing of Episode Chapter 12: Godsend Mohinder was given a business card for Primatech Paper Company (see above image). A link can also be found on the NBC Heroes website. What a neat idea! I hope you can "play along" through email cuz I live in Canada and my cell phone service provider is definetly not on the list of providers. That means no text messages... email or phone only.

has anybody looked in the graphic novel for hrg's access code? it might be there.
WannaBeAHero
Hey all. We should work out a system so that everyone enters a different combination of answers to the questions in case there actually is a filtering process. They will probably let everyone play along, but just in case maybe we should assign some sort of system for example one person answers all the first answer, the second person answers the second for the first question and then the first for the rest, etc.

Ok on the job app page there are 3 different results.

The results are based on your answer.

You have 3 scores lets call them S1,S2,S3

Each starts out at 0

Each of the 7 questions will add 1 to one of the scores.

From the source code of the page:

So choices that add to:

S1 = 1B, 2A, 3C, 4C, 5B, 6B, 7C
S2 = 1C, 2B, 3B, 4B, 5A, 6C, 7A
S3 = 1A, 2C, 3A, 4A, 5C, 6A, 7B

What that means is that choosing "Ignore it" for question one will add 1 to S3.

Now there are three different Results lets call them R1,R2,R3.

Which result you get is determined in this order

If S1 > 3 then R1
If S2 > 3 then R2
if S3 > 3 then R3

That means if you picked 4 of the same "type" then that governs your result.

if S1 = 3 and S2 <3 and S3 < 3 then R1
if S2 = 3 and S1 < 3 and S3 < 3 then R2
else R3

What the difference is I don't know yet but i'll check.

You can see this all for yourself by looking at the view source on the application page and looking at the getPrv(form) function.
Begemot Geroi
Are you getting this off of the primatechpaper.com site?
