oh my goodness! for once I'm not posting about Sylar!
anyways. I had always disliked Audrey until Fallout. Then i kind of liked her.
But in tonights episode, what she said to matt was just totally- not right... So now i hate her...
anyone else care to share what you think?

It's kinda like she betrayed him.
And like she's blaming it all on him.
She's the one who chose to believe him about his power and follow all his leads, so it's her own fault.

yeah I hope she comes back to her senses. I mean, she's seen beyond a doubt that he can hear her thoughts..especially after catching that stray thought in the car.
I've really liked her character alot and I hope she sticks around.

I was fine with Audrey at first. She's getting so stupid though.
I can understand her being over-zealous in some of her past actions (even though dumb, they were passion driven).
Now she's just lame; denying she's seen people with powers and such.
She's had plenty of proof. I won't list all the instances because I don't want to spoil it for people catching up on episodes. Jeeze Louise! Audrey needs to get a brain transplant.

Remember how long it took Scully to admit to the things Mulder showed her during their time in the X-Files? Some people are built to be skeptics...even if they do think their partner is cute.

I think her main concern right now is keeping her job... she might warm up to him again if that is secure.

Batgirl - you are in a spoiler portion of the forum. People who haven't seen ep 12 will not be reading these posts. If they do and they get something ruined it's their own fault.
I can only think of 2 instances of powers she has (not) seen - Matt's telepathy and Ted's radiation.

Well Kristen's spoiler from E! said a female character would be written off the show.

The way Audrey was acting...makes me think that the Haitian got to her. It would make sense for Bennett to have her memory wiped to get the FBI off his trail.

I was never a big Audrey fan but I kind of grew to like her a bit when she and Matt were in the car and he was reading her thoughts about him being "cute." But yeah, she was being a bee-yotch to him last night and I wanted to slap her.
I did like it when Matt went after HRG though. That was kind of cool.
I love Matt. He's just such a huggable teddy bear kind of a guy!

Poor Matt
The guy has enough on his plate with dealing with his abilities and then dealing with avoiding his wife and now Audrey has bailed out on him after everything that he has doen for her.

I never really liked Audrey. I think she's a pretty crummy cop too. I mean she comes to all the wrong conclusions and can't seem to read clues. Matt was and is way better.
She was just thinking about herself when they got shafted for trying to search the paper plant and came up with nothing. Matt is going to have to go it alone and probably on his own time to get HRG and the Haitian.

Yes!Now I realise why I was enjoying Matt and Audrey together. They are so the Scully and Mulder of Heroes.
I just hope that they get back together. Matt needs someone to believe in him and I was hopping that it was going to be Audrey.
I agree that Audrey was mean to Matt last night. They seemed to be working out and then bam Audrey is back to her old self.
I just hope that everything works it’s self out with these two.

I think part of the reason Audrey was mad was because it had been two weeks and no leads on Sylar (little did they know he was tucked in his little prison cell by HRG's gang) and so probably is in denial about his powers and frankly about her feelings towards him. Look at it this way, she probably had a bad day.

Television has needed a new Mulder and Scully for years. I just hope they don't mess this one up by trying to make it a relationship. Sexual tension is necessary in situations like this one!
I'm just glad someone else out there remembers the good ol' days of the X-Files.

I don't know... I kind of understood where she was coming from. I mean, she's followed this guy who says he can read minds. She's probably put her job on the line to stake out Primatech, because Matt said to.
Then, when they decide to storm it, but find no trace of anything but a paper plant, getting her in trouble too, well... wouldn't you back off just a tad? Realistically, I think we all probably would. Especially because we'd probably be thinking something like "Well, if Matt could read minds, he should know exactly where Sylar is in this place, but he's coming up with nothing." Since Matt was coming up with nothing, it'd be pretty discouraging, and you'd start to rethink things. You know, maybe he can't read minds. Maybe it was a fluke. Idk...
That said, she's not my favorite character, but not because of "Godsend"

I love that you bring it into real world context. "Realistically..." Makes me smile...and remember that I'm not the only nerd on the planet.
I agree with you, though. If you've made it all the way into the FBI (a lengthy process) you're gonna be worried about your job at this point. Therefore, reverting to not believing is going to be your best course of action.

Job security versus blowing your brains out; I'd be more concerned about my life.
Denial is different from being a skeptic.
Audrey is in denial which is a terrible place for someone who is suppose to be looking at all evidence.
Matt saved Audrey from blowing her brains out by interupting Sylar's TK.
Audrey owes Matt a lot. She's had more than enough examples that something extraordinary is happening around her.

Yes Indeed... i used to watch X-Files with my grandma (yes lol). But it's all very foggy right now, i wasn't old enough to understand everything.
anyhow, ok so i guess she has the right to be mad. BUT she shouldn't deny the fact that matt can read minds. She should be a believer. Like you guys said, Sylar almost making her shoot herself should have made anyone believe and NEVER forget. A moment where your life could have ended should never be forgotten.
Then again like you guys said, she could be working for HRG or got Mindwiped by the Haitian.
who knows?

Her reaction was expected, as she already put herself on the line by taking in a suspended officer and recruiting him in the FBI like that and any mistakes would be pinned to her. In addition, she was lucky she didn't lose her job over Matt's supposed "blunder", so yeah, it's quite plausible she was furious. But I don't think this is the end of her, as she's received too much attention over the course of this show to be thrown aside now. (She did get her own graphic novel after all)

Well, you gotta think of yourself in her situation. Firstly, I bet it would be real easy to convince yourself you were seeing/believing things you wanted too. Also, she does need to survive. Sometimes you do have to think of yourself. Let's hope Parkman can get it together and crack this case.

Audrey can go anytime. Does she really add anything to the show? My opinion, a big fat NO.
