Does anyone know what kind of gun that is? I know Eden had one and so did the fake repairman installing the bug in Mohinder's apartment. Is it even real?

it's the same gun, it just keeps getting passed around. eden got it from the plumber tapping mohinder's phone, eden got it from there and i am sure mr. bennit got it after the shooting.

I would think it would be rather unlikely that the organization behind HRG would not have the resources to purchase more than one gun. Chances are it's the same prop in production, but different guns in the story.

The writers are very symbol/item driven in their storyline. I'd bet there is something to that gun.

One guess I had based on the camera angles in this episode is that the gun has a camera feed.

It seems odd that HRG carried that great big "stun gun" with him when he visited Mohinder. He surely didn't intend to use it on Mohinder. Was it just a subtle (or not so subtle) attempt to intimidate Mohinder? (it isn't coincidental that Hana showed the schematic of that gun to Ted earlier and then HRG shows up waving it around for no apparent reason...we've never seen him carrying that thing around in previous episodes)

BTW, why was HRG even bothering talking with Mohinder? If he really wanted the List so badly I'd imagine he'd just bring the Haitian along and steal the List, the computer and anything else he wanted and then wipe Mohinder's mind. I'm pretty sure the Haitian could retrieve any information from Mohinder's brain if he had to as well as remove memories.

Hana showed Ted the diagram of a special needle. It's different from the gun Mr. Bennet was carrying. He was carrying the same model of gun (if not the same exact gun) when he and The Haitian tried to capture Nathan in the episode Hiros.


I don't think The Haitian has that ability. He hasn't exhibited the ability to read anyone's mind yet. He's only been able to erase memories, not necessarily access them.

But if he'd had the Haitian, they could've taken it from Mohinder by force and then wiped Mohinder's memory of it.

I think he wouldn't have. Think about it - according to HRG, it seems as if Mohinder's dad knew a lot more about all of this than the OWI. They'd want to convince Mohinder to be on their side, because his dad could have told him important information.

I'm with you on that. I don't think they'd want to form bad relations with Mohinder, either. I was just explaining how someone else may have come to the conclusion that having the Haitian present may have helped HRG's cause.

What more could he have told them? They have his book. I'd assume he wrote whatever he knew in that book. Not to mention didn't they have his map from Suresh's apartment in India and all his files?

Didn't HRG say on the phone in the pilot episode that Suresh left everything behind (in India) except his laptop? and then HRG told the person on the other end of the phone (Eden?) to send a team to bag and tag everything in the apartment.
