I really like the direction the Haitian character took in this episode. I'm glad they are giving what was such an ominous character some personality. I like that he is separating himself from Mr. Bennet's agenda to support Claire.
He seems much more like all the other heroes in this episode. He too is trying to make sense of his power and assign some sort of positive value to it. I forget the line specifically but Claire was describing her power as her "own private freakshow" and he corrects her by telling her "What you can do, what I can do, that is God. Respect it accordingly."
I'm excited to see how they develop his character.

I liked this sceen with the Haitian too. Still doesn't talk to much but what he does say is important.

I agree, I really started to soften up to the Haitian this past episode. I hope one day they give him a name, lol

My only question is..has he been in the organization longer than HRG? Cause I can't really figure out any other reason why no one else knows that he can talk..or do they?

The thing that got me really thinking is when the Haitian says "Save the Cheerleader; Save the World." What if HE got a visit from the future too? i know everyone believes that Hiro could only talk to Peter b/c he absorbs his power and that's why he didn't freeze with time, but I think future Hiro just has so much control he can unfreeze things. What if Hiro came back and told the Haitian the path he was going on was the wrong one and would ultimately lead to his, Claires, and the worlds existance. If Hiro came back and said he needs to make sure that Claire remembers everything and stays alive, that would be just cause for what he is doing. Not too much of a theory just something I thought of when he said that. Didn't take him or HRG as the type to be quoting it outright like that.

I really liked the ominous silent Haitian, but truth be told I like the wise mentor for Claire Haitian even better. I think his agenda is much more benevolent than HRG.

Yeah, he seems to care about Clarie and I think he understands what she is going threw. I'm glad he is trying to help her I think he wants to tell her about her parents but if he does that then Mr. Bennette will find out it was him. In the end I believe the Haitian will play a big role in Clarie's life.
