Could this new guy claude(invisble man) be Claires father?
He is a man of the proper age...but he's no more of an option than any other over 30 male on the show.
Still think its going to be HRG...
I have not had a chance to rewatch the episode but something occured to me while I was watching.
HRG was speaking to a doctor/scientist in Sylar's cell. Was the doctor the man who was pretending to be Clair's dad?
The Haitian did tell Claire the couple posing as her birth parents worked for HRG.
Can someone check the tape and let me know?
I am also still trying to figure out how Claire's even got on the list in the first place as her name would have changed when she was adopted.

That's affirmative. The doc is the same guy that posed as Claire's Bio Dad.
Great point about Claire being on the list after the name change. But she was in the hospital as a child when she had that "cough." It seems likely that she would be treated under the name "Claire Bennett" seeing as how she was already adopted.
I'm not sure how the human genome project could possibly have the names of people who were not included in it to begin with so they must track them through medical records. For this to be true, the Heroes would of needed to be hospitalized at some point in their life. Perhaps the hospitals run a series of tests at birth on all newborns that we are unaware of?

That is definately Claire's supposed "Bio-dad"
the bio-mom can be seen as the person HRG bumps into at Primatech early in Homecoming I think, when he's about to see Isaac for the first time after Eden has sort of captured him.

Aha! Claire's mum is HRG's sister, hence the same surname... and he's the father?

Seriously, (like any of this is really serious) I am still in a quandry over her name on the list thing. Wasn't HRG contacted by Mohinder's father? Or maybe it was the other way around? Maybe HRG saw the list with Claire's birth name on it and contacted him. But if HRG has the list why does he need Mohinder's help? Did Claire even have a name besides baby-girl whatever?
Hopefully some of the issues will be settled tonight when we see her real mom for the first time.
I am so glad I am not a writer on the show. We are all way to nitpicky out here in cyber-land.
If she was a newborn adoption, The name issue is a moot point.
If Claire was adopted as a newborn, she would have only one name and would have been named by her adoptive parents.

But now we know that Claire was 18 months old when she was seperated from her Mom. Will we find out what her birth name is next week?
Are we really wondering how Bennet possibly skirted adoption procedures? Dude plays catch and release with metahumans. I think he has the pull to get an illegal adoption through the system.
