i think jess defended niki but when ther dad got real mad killed jess and she had a power to , power to body transfer so after her body died she body transfered to niki ,but after was not in control toke time, but now she cant body transfer to a differnt person couse has been in niki so long is fused to her , but now niki knows whats going on is fighting for contol but way i think of it they well fuse to both .. and be niki and jess all in one .

There's a lot of ways the writers can go here, but for as long as they can stretch it out they're going to continue doing things in such a way to where we don't know for certain which is the truth.

Niki could be a very disturbed woman suffering from Multiple Personality Disorder. Because of child abuse, the loss of a sibling at a very young age, and other stressful events including the events of six months ago which led to her husband being incarcerated for murder, her brain blew a gasket. It happens. According to many psychologists, although unorthodox, MPD is one of many ways the brain has of protecting itself. It's a survival reaction. Some could even argue it is an evolutionary step, in reaction to key stress catalysts in a volatile environment.

Jess may actually be the spirit of Niki's dead sister, remaining mostly dormant in Niki's body all this time, taking over when Niki can't cope with things herself. Jess may be so haunted and tortured a soul, that her remaining with Niki is due to the events that led to her tragic death. She didn't want to leave because she wanted to stay and protect her sister more, when we may eventually learn that she quite literally shielded Niki from the worst of it with her own very life.

Jessica may be an artificial fabrication that was psyonically injected into Niki at about the same time the super strength mutation was first manifest. Niki doesn't remember getting super strength, because up until most recent events, only Jessica would come forward when super strength was required, and this was by artificial design. Maybe the Haitian did this. Perhaps a completely different enhanced human whom we haven't met yet.

What is posing as Jessica may actually be lying. IT could be Uluru, the evil demon that Issac has seen haunting his nightmares. Uluru could be posing as Jessica inside Niki in order to better control her, and hide from the world until it is ready to strike.

i just can't believe niki has MPD. has there ever been a documented case of a preson having MPD and one of the personalities is their sibling? i think jessica had a power and niki didn't. jessica somehow got into niki, and now her powers are transferring over to niki.

I am sure it has been said before but i just cant figure out where she fit's into the store line? I am sure that we will see.

I agree, this show is about realness, but MPD would be to real. It's much more than that.

yeah, me to either, but I think that's what the writers of the show want. They don't want people figuring it out. Is she going to die? Is Jessica going to live on if Niki dies? and if she does, will she become good or bad, or both? will she join our heroes, or will she become a villain?
