I think they can live on in AU fan fics- with lots of angst/torture/TK'ing to boot! Now that Mohinder knows and hates Sylar and they both got the torture out of their system, it could be very very interesting.

You're right, they really could've made it. I was rooting for them as soon as they got together! I was very bummed when they got seperate hotel rooms though...

Funfact: Zachary Quinto's lone tear wasn't in the original script, It was an uncontrollable outburt out of the result of the disbandment of "Molar".

Both actors were devastated but Sendhil took it better since they didn't have to film the rape scene which was supposed to follow after Sylar freed himself.
