I would because my life is boring and I'd want to discover i was special and have life changing surprises

I like my life and I have some good friends and laughs, I doubt I could handle what these guys have seen allready but I think it would be great. Especially to be able to help people. Like you see someone who needs help so you just take 5 minutes and change their life. Pretty killer.

I want time manipulation.

I don't want an exciting life, I want a boring life but with powers so that I can make it exciting. I don't think I'd survive if excitement happened to me.

And I wouldn't spend an hour a day lamenting about how terrible it is that I can't die like some people either.

Well, when I was a child, I used to wish some stranger would come and tell me my family, wasn't really my family. They weren't bad people, they were just insignificant... and I wanted to be different, special... I wanted to change... a new name, a new life.

... hmm that sounds familiar.

Wow, that reminds me of something that happened a couple months ago. I got so jealous of someone else's success that I beat him over the head with something heavy and ate his brains in the hopes that I would absorb some of their power. But you know, I got so into it that I've been taking off the tops of people's heads ever since. Crazy world, isn't it?

Gimme the power to manipulate and generate electricity or TK and live would be grand.

With the electric power, it could be honed to do a multitude of things. Sense changes in brain waves to determine emotions (brain waves are electrical impulses readable by machines right?), magnetize items, power stuff, arc weld, use it as a light source by letting it arc between my fingers, start a fire, wield a weapon that's as fast as greased lightning because it is greased lightning!

With TK: TK lift/grab/shove anything (or anyone). operate any simple device without holding it, push buttons, use it as a knife like Sylar does, throw things and other possibilities that I can't think of roght now.

I was always a fan of superheroes partly because I dreamt of having some special power. That is also the reason why I am a huge fan of almost everything about vampires. They have been fascinating me since I was ten years old.

So, yeah I would love to have some extraordinary power. Whereas flight or tk would be cool I think I would love something simpler like longevity or regeneration more. Imagine you could live five times as long as a normal human. It would give you tha chance to try out almost everything (talking about professions, lifestyles and such...). For me that would be ultimate freedom.

Claires power is great too, imagine all the crazy stuff you could do. You could see exactally how much it hurts to get shot.
