That's pretty much all you do... You can do it differently if you'd like to, maybe different colors, fonts etc. but that is all you do...

I think it's a very good idea too. I have one suggestion, add a link to the post that contains the update:

This way, you can still have fun with the various colors and fonts, but still let folks/fans know your story has something new.
