Did anybody else get the impression that Linderman is the true papa petrelli? For some reason I don't trust mama petrelli one bit. Of course, they already used the aldutress love child scenario this season, so maybe not...

And powers don't skip generations, look at Niki, Micah, and D.L. (that's if D.L. is really Micah's father. For some reason I think that everyone one this show sleeps around)

But in the online comic, Austin/Linderman comes to see Dallas/Papa Petrelli and Mama Petrelli and Little Nathan are in the room. Unless Nathan has an older brother..

Well I do say that Mama Petrelli does have an abaility because I think it is passed through the parents and it doesnt skip a generation. What I think is that if you have one parent who is gifted and the other isnt the childern have a 50% chance of getting an ability. (Like Mama Petrelli and Matt with his child) But if you have two parents (Niki and DL) I think that the child will for sure get one, it was just a stroke of luck that Peter and Nathan got an ability

For those of you who doubt that Angela has a power - both Nathan and Peter have powers. Either that's a complete genetic coincidence (of which there are no such things on this show), or... one/both of their parents have powers, and my money's on both.

I'm betting her power is something more mental, like a version of Eden's power or perhaps omnilingualism (as lame as that may sound, imagine if you could hold conversations, with minute bacteria or something, as they're technically living).

I feel like her power is going to be something like knowing things or something similar to Matt's where he can he thoughts. She ALWAYS seems to know what's going on. She knew about Claire all this time even though Nathan thought she was dead. She said, 'you can spit out bullets to Claire' so it seems like she knows about the time she was shot. I don't quite know what it is but she seems to more than anybody about the big picture (except maybe Linderman).

This actually makes a lot of sense. Peter absorbs his powers from others. This was the first power he manifested. Where did he get it from? It makes sense it could be from his mother.

It has to be something emotional then... something that really connects her to Peter, because she says that he is her favorite and that she connects most to him.

Plus, she just manages to freakin know everything. Kinda like Peter knew there had been another car in the crash, She knew about Nathan's mistake in the first place, then also that Claire was still alive. However, strangely enough, she didn't know that peter was dead. Plot hole? Counterexample? Or, maybe the knowlege only comes in dreams. So she would have had to fall asleep and dream, in order to figure out that Peter was dead.

Lol, I can't tell if people are actually serious at all with some of the crazy theories that are spewed out.

While Heroes *tries* to involve genetics into the whole equation it does so poorly, but I don't really mind. I doubt that the writers would re-introduce old powers, simply because that's kind of lame. I really think Omnilingualism is the most likely candidate.

Although she speaks horrible French, her thing might be the power to understand and speak in all languages. It would be fairly unique.

I'm wondering how much we're betting on whether they'll repeat powers or not. Notice that Linderman's art gallery was from many different artists. He kept saying "artists" that dreamed of a brighter future, etc (sorry for the paraphrase). Maybe she DOES dream about the future, or at least events that she can't see with her eyes right in front of her, and then she can tell someone else the dreams and they paint them. It seems that Linderman's been collecting for a while. And if they were friends (as I assume they were) before, perhaps she was the first "dreamer" and then Linderman had to find a new one (ie Isaac) after the group split. Just a thought.

That's true but I think people are speculating because two of her sons have powers and we know there is a genetic link. It's not definite but I think it's a good bet she has powers, especially with her being so involved in the company (through her husband) and knowing the Haitian and knowing all about powers...there aren't too many people we've seen so far who know about powers that don't have them except for Bennet and it doesn't seem like she's directly involved with the company like he is. It's more like she's going against it by protecting Claire. Plus, she's alluded to having a power.

So, while we're not positive she has one and there won't be proof until we see it, I think it's a safe bet to speculate that she does. That's just my two cents though.

And good call with Papa Deveaux, I forgot about him. His power definitely seemed similar to Peter's.

I was thinking something along the same lines. A really pathetic and/or useless power. That's why she's not admitting to anything.

My money is on Lindermann being the father to the Petrelli brothers and the mother's power is some kind of psychological thing...controlling mentally...something along that lines. Lindermann kept her in Nathan's life for a reason...someone had to lead him to politics to fulfill his destiny of saving humanity.

I think that she may be a Power Sensor. She has the ability to just KNOW what powers a Hero has. [It's a form of perception.]

Although it can stem from Hiro's power. If he just slows down time, and walks around, it will seem like super speed. Like when he stole the replica sword from the museum.
