i still think there will be story line with simones father. he was played by richard roundtree and he is a pretty establiched actor to be in like 2 episodes practicaly dead in bed.

Agreed. I also don't think they would've built up that relationship between Papa Deveaux and Peter so much if it wasn't leading to something. I think it was also said in an interview that Simone has a power. We haven't seen one yet, so it must be coming.

I'd always thought that Charles' power may be some sort of astral projection, which is why he showed up in Peter's dream right before he died. But that would be pretty close to Sanjog (why do I keep wanting to call him Sanjaya?) Iyer's power, so maybe not. It'd be kinda lame to have two characters with basically the same ability.

Lois, i don't have a link, but i believe it was Kristen@E who referenced the "phoenix" power for Simone (phoenix the mythical bird, not the Marvel superhero). but she originally said the same thing about Sylar (back before Homecoming, i think). anyway ...

I honestly don't know for sure. I'm just throwing the thought out there. I've been thinking as of late that Simone's power has something to do with shapeshifting, albeit a different form than Candace's. Your thoughts?
