we've seen
some evidence that power have limits -- like when Matt got a bloody nose from trying to "scan" too hard, or when Micah seemed to overextend himself and looked dizzy when rigging the entire election network, or (in the comic) when Hana pushes her limit trying to control the tracking satellite
but on the other hand, we see some powers with some pretty high upward limits, like Sylar flipping the armored van, or an exploding man taking out an entire city
so ... it's inconsistent

I'm sure that it has something to do with how skilled you are with your powers. Sylar, when he gains another's power, knows instantly how it works, as that is his original power, and how to use it, where as the other heroes mentioned were knew to their powers at the time. There is also evidence that with knowlege and practice you can manipulate your skills such as when Ted did an EMP burst. It's all about skill level.

Hiro cant stop time forever. Nor can he go anywhere or anywhen. If he could, he might have ended up in space before the big bang

About Molly's power. Do you think she's already met or seen the guy that's scarier than the boogieman? If not, how did she find him in the first place?

i think the guy who's scarier than the boogieman is one of linderman's friends that "lost their path", and because linderman is thompson's boss i think he ordered thompson to look for the guy, that's why molly tried to 'find' him

The only problem wioth that is that Linderman is one of those who 'lost his way' so the others who also ventured off the path of righteousness (ooh how poetic of me) would be his allies, not so much his enemies.

With the Heroes, X-Men, Spiderman, Superman, Batman: The stories told are eccentric and be spoken in a way no one knows...unless it's the writer. this world is unlimited. No pun intended. So we don't know if Matt gets nose bleeds because he tries too hard or if it was the Haitian, Claire and Peter has to move their limbs after they get hurt or they are like Wolverine and everything fixes its self. Not knowing if the fun!

It's an interesting question. I think it will all depend on the individual person. I think the persons I.Q level has an effect on this. People with a high I.Q learn things faster and they become experts at things faster. I think someone with a low I.Q might struggle with their powers, in the same way that they would struggle with reading, writing etc. With time and practice each person will be able to raise the bar on what they can do with there powers and how long they can do it for. Some will be able to push their limits more then others. Everyone has a final limit though.

it does seeem to vary with the differing individuals as well as with the differing powers. claude seems in control of his power but we don't even know the extent of his or many others . so there are likely limits even on the very powerful .maybe that will be explored in future shows?
