During one of the interviews posted by NBC, Masi Oka mentioned being a shodan (1st degree Black belt) in Kendo. Does anyone know if he still practices kendo?

I thought he mentioned in a behind the scenes video that he hadn't in a while and was a little rusty. I don't think I'd be able to find the video now though.
