this is an odd article , the woman doesn't even really flesh out her reasoning fully. i don't think she knows the show . kaito fairly well redeems himself as a caring yet stern father but he makes her list of worst fathers candidates anyways . it is always fun to come across odd mentions , people bowing to the fact that the show is popular and thinking that they should include it to attract readers but not really getting it.

Yeah... that's cool that he got mentioned, but I don't think she really watches the show. laugh.gif I mean, we still don't know everything about Kaito, but so far the story seems to imply that he's one of the good guys. We shall see...

Kaito Nakamura (George Takei), "Heroes" — Kaito was determined to keep son Hiro (Masi Oka) in the family business, flying to America and having him kidnapped to force him to return to Japan. When Hiro refused to end his quest to save the world, Kaito seemed to give in, even teaching Hiro sword-fighting skills. But there's more to it: In flashbacks, Kaito was revealed as a boss of "The Company," the shadowy organization tracking and experimenting on heroes.

I'm fairly convinced that we're watching a totally different show than the show the reporter is describing here.

Well, it's just written to sell copy. She doesn't really watch the show and know the full details of the relationship between Hiro and Kaito. Anyone who understands this show knows the truth.
Lois Lane
Clearly she doesn't watch the show. I think she just wrote the article 'cause her bosses told her too. Pick bad fathers on TV: GO!

Yay for the mention tho...
